In their day they did all in their power, by whatever means available, to bring down the Church, to woo the people with sophistry, and to take control of the society. We see the same thing in the present situation.

We are people of peace. We are followers of the Christ who was and is the Prince of Peace. But there are times when we must stand up for right and decency, for freedom and civilization, just as Moroni rallied his people in his day to the defense of their wives, their children, and the cause of liberty (see Alma 48:10)."

Who Is Jane Roe? (from Roe vs. Wade)

Bet this story makes the pro-choice and homosexual advocates livid... She converted to Christianity and changed...

"Norma Leah McCorvey (née Nelson born September 22, 1947, in Simmesport, Louisiana) is best known as the legal pseudonym "Jane Roe" in the landmark Roe v. Wade lawsuit in 1973. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that abortion is a Constitutional right, overturning individual states' laws against abortion. Years later she recanted her support of abortion rights.

Background

The Roe vs. Wade case took three years of trials to reach the United States Supreme Court. In the meantime, McCorvey had not aborted, but had given birth to the baby in question. In the case, she claimed that her pregnancy was the result of rape. She now claims that to have been untrue.

In the 1980s, McCorvey revealed herself to be the "Jane Roe" of the famous case, and that she had been the "pawn" of two young and ambitious lawyers (Sarah Weddington and Linda Coffee) who were looking for a plaintiff with whom they could challenge the Texas state law prohibiting abortion.

In her 1994 autobiography, I Am Roe (her first book), she wrote of her sexuality. For many years she had lived quietly in Dallas, Texas, with her long-time partner, Connie Gonzales. "We're not like other lesbians, going to bars," she said in a New York Times interview. "We're lesbians by ourselves. We're homers."

Conversion

At a signing of I Am Roe, in 1994, McCorvey was befriended by pro-life activist Flip Benham. Within a year, McCorvey converted to Christianity. She was baptized on August 8, 1995, by Benham in a Dallas backyard swimming pool, which event was filmed for national television. Two days later she announced that she had become an advocate of the pro-life movement (specifically, "Operation Rescue"), campaigning to make abortion illegal.

She wrote in her book, Won by Love,

"I was sitting in O.R.'s offices when I noticed a fetal development poster. The progression was so obvious, the eyes were so sweet. It hurt my heart, just looking at them. I ran outside and finally, it dawned on me. "Norma," I said to myself, "They're right." I had worked with pregnant women for years. I had been through three pregnancies and deliveries myself. I should have known. Yet something in that poster made me lose my breath. I kept seeing the picture of that tiny, 10-week-old embryo, and I said to myself, that's a baby! It's as if blinders just fell off my eyes and I suddenly understood the truth--that's a baby!"

I felt crushed under the truth of this realization. I had to face up to the awful reality. Abortion wasn't about "products of conception." It wasn't about "missed periods." It was about children being killed in their mother's wombs. All those years I was wrong. Signing that affidavit, I was wrong. Working in an abortion clinic, I was wrong. No more of this first trimester, second trimester, third trimester stuff. Abortion–at any point–was wrong. It was so clear. Painfully clear."

In 1998, she released a statement that affirmed her entrance into the Roman Catholic Church, and she has been confirmed into the church as a full member. She has also stated that she is no longer a lesbian. On August 17, 1998 She was received into the Catholic Church by Fr. Frank Pavone, the International Director of Priests for Life and Fr. Edward Robinson in Dallas, TX.

In 2005, in McCorvey v. Hill, she petitioned the Supreme Court to overturn the 1973 decision, arguing that the case should be heard again in light of evidence that the procedure harms women, but that petition was denied.

Despite asking for an abortion in her original suit, McCorvey never had the procedure. She gave birth to a girl, who was placed for adoption. As is common in contested (and sometimes uncontested) cases, the court decision took longer than the nine-month pregnancy."

"Beware Charismatic Men Who Preach 'Change'

Each year I get to celebrate Independence Day twice. On June 30 I celebrate my independence day and on July 4 I celebrate America's. This year is special, because it marks the 40th anniversary of my independence.

On June 30, 1968, I escaped Communist Cuba and a few months later I was in the United States to stay. That I happened to arrive in Richmond on Thanksgiving Day is just part of the story, but I digress.

I've thought a lot about the anniversary this year. The election-year rhetoric has made me think a lot about Cuba and what transpired there. In the late 1950s, most Cubans thought Cuba needed a change, and they were right. So when a young leader came along, every Cuban was at least receptive.

When the young leader spoke eloquently and passionately and denounced the old system, the press fell in love with him. They never questioned who his friends were or what he really believed in. When he said he would help the farmers and the poor and bring free medical care and education to all, everyone followed. When he said he would bring justice and equality to all, everyone said "Praise the Lord." And when the young leader said, "I will be for change and I'll bring you change," everyone yelled, "Viva Fidel!"

But nobody asked about the change, so by the time the executioner's guns went silent the people's guns had been taken away. By the time everyone was equal, they were equally poor, hungry, and oppressed. By the time everyone received their free education it was worth nothing. By the time the press noticed, it was too late, because they were now working for him. By the time the change was finally implemented Cuba had been knocked down a couple of notches to Third-World status. By the time the change was over more than a million people had taken to boats, rafts, and inner tubes. You can call those who made it ashore anywhere else in the world the most fortunate Cubans. And now I'm back to the beginning of my story.

Luckily, we would never fall in America for a young leader who promised change without asking, what change? How will you carry it out? What will it cost America?

Obama Supports Public Depravity

I received a comment on a previous post, someone told me that she had just read an interesting article entitled "OBAMA SUPPORTS PUBLIC DEPRAVITY!"

So I googled it: and this is some of the comments I read:

"The question I have for conservatives and moderates - and, what the heck? liberals - is this: what sort of man thinks it should be legal to allow living infants to drown in a toilet immediately after birth? The answer is very simple: a morally depraved one. And the next question that I have is this: do you want such a man making the most important decisions that will face this country over the next four years?"

And, this article linked to some information about Up Your Alley 2008 and Folsom Street Fair (2007) from zombietime.com. These were very disturbing reports, and that is putting it lightly.

"Every year in San Francisco there's a free outdoor "fetish" event called the Folsom Street Fair at which hundreds of thousands of mostly gay men stroll around the city streets in leather or rubber fetish outfits. This year (2007), a major controversy surrounding the fair was ignited by its official poster, which was a parody of the Da Vinci's The Last Supper featuring sex toys and fetish gear, instead of the standard biblical scene. Christian groups and some conservatives found the poster offensive.

The controversy then spread when critics discovered that Miller Beer, a mainstream corporation, was the fair's main sponsor. Conservative groups began to call for a boycott of Miller products if the beverage company did not withdraw its sponsorship.

The fracas expanded when images of young children attending the 2005 Folsom Street Fair -- illustrations for an online magazine article -- began circulating in the blogosphere.

The controversy first started in Catholic publications, but Michelle Malkin had the most extensive coverage of it, including updates about the photos of the children at the fair and the calls for a boycott. KTVU News had an excellent video report about the dispute surrounding the fair."

"2008 "Up Your Alley" Fair -- a free, open-to-the-public street festival held in San Francisco on July 27. Up Your Alley -- which until recently was called the Dore Alley Fair -- is very similar to the larger and more well-known Folsom Street Fair, in that they are both held to celebrate the leather and fetish scene in the gay community. While Folsom is internationally known and draws visitors from all over the world, Up Your Alley is thought of more as the fetish event "for locals," and because of that it is smaller, has fewer retail vendors and booths, and generally flies under the radar. Up Your Alley has become extremely popular itself, with many tens of thousands of people in attendance. Now it seems to be more than just a warm-up for Folsom, but instead has grown to become a major event in its own right."

The event featured thousands of homosexual men walking around naked or exposed in broad daylight - with hundreds of them repeatedly engaging in public, group and unprotected sex.

He also states: "The goings-on depicted in this essay are not unique, significant or noteworthy incidents: they're just random scenes from a random hour in the day. If I had arrived an hour earlier or an hour later, I would have seen a completely different series of incidents. Whether I visited at a particularly sexy time, or during a lull in the action, I don't know: What I saw during that one hour was probably about average for what went on during every hour throughout the day. So, as I said in my previous introduction, one can extrapolate that a great deal more sexual activity must have gone on during those six hours that I was not there."

He also goes on to say: "if you feel that these images "make gay people look bad" and are unhappy about that fact, then take the issue up with the people shown acting out. I am only publishing these images for their evidentiary and journalistic value, and have no desire to run an X-rated web site. In order to prove that what I'm reporting is really true, I must necessarily post pictures that many will perceive as pornographic."

There were police around, but apparently public decency laws don't matter -if you are a homosexual you are 'above the law' - as the police were aware of everything that was happening. Thomas Jefferson stated "Equal and exact justice to all men, of whatever persuasion, religious or political." - However, as I clearly understand now, laws do NOT apply to homosexuals. They are a protected class and any threat against their lifestyle is deemed as "hate speech", "discriminatory", etc.

Now some may argue that this sort of thing happens in the heterosexual community with prostitution and strip clubs, etc... However, here is the difference: Prostitution is illegal, police try to have stings to stop prostitution, police don't stand around and watch it happen on a public street in broad daylight where children can go. Also strip clubs are regulated and restricted and not out in the open. Anyone younger than 18 is NOT allowed inside strip clubs - this "Up Your Alley" fair was outside in the open, free, and anyone (children included) could walk down the street and see this filth happening.

The censored version of this report is still quite disturbing with many disturbing censored photos, a look at just one of the censored photos was too much for me and for that reason I am not putting a link in this post. From a biblical perspective it reminds me of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Any opposition churches have about this type of behavior is deemed as "hate speech."

Now those that are advocating for same-sex marriage which in reality advocating the homosexual agenda be taught in the school... "Is this what you want my kids to learn about?" Because this is the homosexual lifestyle... there are many other types of homosexual fairs happening throughout the world - so this is not just a one time chance happening - (but I am not going to post any other homosexual fairs at this time as I'd rather not muddy up my blog with this filth).

And to all Christians who are against the Marriage amendment, saying we need to "love one another" and embrace their sin - oh I mean "lifestyle". This is not what Christ taught. Christ told the sinner to "Go and Sin No More" John 8:11. Your support against the marriage amendment says that this type of behavior is OK and acceptable for schools to teach children about & acceptable for society to promote.

The public outcry of real Americans like you and Joe the Plumber is finally getting some light shed on Mr. Obama's wealth redistribution agenda supported by Socialist Democrats in Congress. The corrupt media can't hide it any longer. The plan is to bring an end to the America we know and love; to bring an end to freedom and liberty.

Liberals in government want to seize your 401K retirement plans for their own. Just look at what James Pethokoukis, the money and politics blogger for U.S. News & World Report has said,

In place of 401(k) plans, she would have workers transfer their dough into government-created "guaranteed retirement accounts" for every worker. The government would deposit $600 (inflation indexed) every year into the GRAs. Each worker would also have to save 5 percent of pay into the accounts, to which the government would pay a measly 3 percent return. Rep. Jim McDermott, a Democrat from Washington and chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee's Subcommittee on Income Security and Family Support, said that since "the savings rate isn't going up for the investment of $80 billion [in 401(k) tax breaks], we have to start to think about whether or not we want to continue to invest that $80 billion for a policy that's not generating what we now say it should."

The Democratic plan is to SEIZE your 401k and take $80 billion that is currently the property of American citizens. Effectively, this plan will end all of the incentives that the majority of Americans not only enjoy but rely on. I am sure you or someone you know takes advantage of their employer matching their 401k contribution. Under the iron fist of the Democratic empire your employer would no longer receive a tax benefit for matching your contribution, so they won't do it. And you will lose half of your retirement contributions. And don't forget, that you will lose your tax breaks from the 401k plan also, so you'd be paying the government to let you retire. Sounds like fun?

Don't let the tyrannical rule of socialists take hold, put a stop to the unholy trinity of the Democrat controlled Senate and House and potential president Obama. Do not let Barrack Obama bring an end to this great country!

Mr. Obama has always been against an individuals' right to control and spend their own savings. He has a narrow, selfish and myopic view of the world we live in and the idea that he can tax whatever he wants to whenever he wants to.

STOP B. Hussein Obama's Surrogates From Possibly 'STEALING' the Election!

"By now you know about the allegations of fraud being leveled against the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN):

And it's HUGE!

Investors' Business Daily wrote: "The group's voter-registration fraud is rampant."

Just how "rampant?"

Investor's Business Daily goes on:

"In Nevada, state officials say the fraudulent registrations included forms for the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys football team, including quarterback Tony Romo.... Nevada, along with several other key battleground states, requires no ID to vote."

"No ID to vote?" That begs the question, other than the clumsy attempt to register members of the Dallas Cowboy football team, how many other fraudulent registrations are there in Nevada (or other states that require no ID to vote) that will not be so easily caught?

How many people will potentially travel to different polling places and vote 2, 3, 4 or even a dozen times for B. Hussein Obama?

Accusations of such rampant 'vote-early-and-vote-often' fraud raise even more questions.

For starters, Obama paid ACORN, which has endorsed him for president, $800,000 to register new voters, payments his campaign failed to accurately report. "What's more, Obama worked as executive director of ACORN's voter-registration arm, Project Vote, in 1992. The next year, 1993, Obama joined the civil-rights law firm Davis Miner Barnhill & Galland, where he sued the state of Illinois on behalf of ACORN to implement the federal "Motor Voter" law, which the GOP governor at the time refused to do. And yet, despite all the documented evidence tying Obama to ACORN and the overwhelming stench of impropriety, B. Hussein Obama has the unmitigated gall to deny his connection to this far-left (some say socialist) organization.

On his so-called "Fight the Smears" website, B. Hussein Obama claims he is being attacked with "naked lies." The website claims it's just "a vile Republican pattern of mockery and viciousness" that has "absolutely no basis in fact..."

It reminds me of other infamous statements, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" or "that depends on what the meaning of is is."

Blood Money?

Of course, it makes perfect sense that the Obama campaign is denying B. Hussein Obama's ties to ACORN because the stench of impropriety becomes even more overwhelming!

You already know about Bill Ayers, the leader of the Weather Underground who told the New York Times in an article that was published on September 11, 2001, "I don't regret setting bombs... I feel we didn't do enough."

B. Hussein Obama has continually attempted to dismiss his relationship with Ayers. Recently he told Fox Commentator Bill O'Reilly, "I know thousands of people..."

What B. Hussein Obama forgot to mention was that both he and Ayers served on the board of the Woods Foundation together. He also forgot to mention that Ayers launched his first stab at public office by hosting a 'meet-and-greet' for Obama in 1995.

But most importantly, what B. Hussein Obama forgot to mention is that Ayers co-founded the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC) and hired B. Hussein Obama as the executive director -- a position Obama maintained through 1999 before resigning and joining the board of CAC with Ayers -- putting Obama in a position to dole out close to $50 million dollars in CAC grant money.

And just why is that important?

According to Stanly Kurtz with National Review:

"The community activist groups that got money from the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, like ACORN and the Developing Communities Project (part of the Gamaliel Foundation), were very radical indeed, and the personal views of Walter Annenberg don't change that fact one iota."

There's the ACORN connection again.

That's the same ACORN by the way that pressured lending institutions to making the toxic loans that are at the heart of our current financial crisis.

"How did we get into this financial mess in the first place? Well, to a large degree, it's because lenders gave mortgages to borrowers who were unqualified, who shouldn't have been given loans in the first place. Why did they do that.... Obama at the time had his hands on the purse strings of two organizations. He was a director of the Woods Fund, and he was Chairman of the Board of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC). He gave money from both organizations to ACORN, and also provided training for ACORN workers. According to Stanley Kurtz of National Review Online, 'ACORN succeeded in drawing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac into the very policies that led to the current disaster.' ACORN put pressure on banks by threatening them with accusations of racism if they didn't give loans to minorities, even if they were completely unqualified."

That stench of impropriety is actually a circle of impropriety and it would appear that B. Hussein Obama is smack dab in the middle.

As for ACORN the timing could not have been better... partially causing the financial meltdown of the greatest nation in the world AND committing massive fraud to the benefit of a candidate that graced you with financial gifts over the years... that's called a "TWOFER!"

The Enemy Of My Enemy Is My Friend But The Enemies Of The United States Are B. Hussein Obama's Friends.

But the allegations of massive and wide-spread voter fraud are just the tip of the iceberg. There's also the question of contributions to Obama's campaign that come from foreign countries -- many potentially from individuals and countries that hate the United States!

According to the Internet news site NewsMax.com:

"In June, Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi gave a public speech praising Obama, claiming foreign nationals were donating to his campaign. 'All the people in the Arab and Islamic world and in Africa applauded this man,' the Libyan leader said. 'They welcomed him and prayed for him and for his success, and they may have even been involved in legitimate contribution campaigns to enable him to win the American presidency...'"

NewsMax.com added:

"Though Gadhafi asserted that fundraising from Arab and African nations were 'legitimate,' the fact is that U.S. federal law bans any foreigner from donating to a U.S. election campaign."

And other accusations of potential campaign improprieties are surfacing as well.

NewsMax.com yet again:

"In July and August, the head of the Nigeria's stock market held a series of pro-Obama fundraisers in Lagos, Nigeria's largest city. The events attracted local Nigerian business owners. At one event, a table for eight at one fundraising dinner went for $16,800. Nigerian press reports claimed sponsors raked in an estimated $900,000. The sponsors said the fundraisers were held to help Nigerians attend the Democratic convention in Denver. But the Nigerian press expressed skepticism of that claim, and the Nigerian public anti-fraud commission is now investigating the matter."

Pamela Geller, who runs the Internet Blog Atlas Shrugs claims that the Obama campaign received $33,000 from the purchase of paraphernalia off the Obama website... specifically T-shirts which were then shipped to Gaza and that a pair of Palestinian brothers Hosam and Monir Edwan contributed more than $31,300 to the Obama campaign.

A few thousand here... a few thousand there... it all adds up.

In fact, according to NewsMax.com:

"The FEC has compiled a separate database of potentially questionable overseas donations that contains more than 11,500 contributions totaling $33.8 million."

And While Were On The Subject Of Potentially Illegal Contributions...

What about charitable religious institutions holding partisan Get-Out-The-Vote Drives?

"The group, Muslim Americans for Obama [MAFO], insists that all of its voter registration activity is non-partisan, despite the fact that its mission statement says it was launched in August 2008 'to provide a vehicle for Muslim-American supporters of Barack Obama to organize and mobilize our fellow citizens to get out the vote to elect Barack Obama the next president of the United States.'"

"Continuing, the group's website states: 'Although there is only a short period of time until the election..., there is much work to be done for supporters of Barack Obama's candidacy. [MAFO] was formed to offer a vehicle for Muslim-Americans to mobilize quickly and effectively so that our community turns out in great numbers for Barack Obama on Election Day.'

"The 'get out the vote' events are scheduled at mosques in Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, and Ohio.

"Robert Spencer is director of Jihad Watch, a project of the David Horowitz Freedom Center. He argues MAFO may be skirting the law.

"'When they are running these voter registration drives at mosques, really it's essentially illegal because they are clearly trying to get people to vote for Obama -- and that's in violation of their tax-exempt status,' Spencer charges. 'So this is a group that is crossing the line and ought to be disciplined as such.'

"The Jihad Watch leader, however, figures that is not likely to happen. '...I kind of doubt that they will be [disciplined], given the politically correct atmosphere nowadays," he says. "I wouldn't be the least surprised if no action is taken against them.'

"Spencer contends that if a group called 'Christians for John McCain' claimed to be non-partisan and ran a registration drive in churches, it would be all over the media and create a huge scandal and embarrassment for the McCain campaign"."

Obama has Aunt Living in US Illegally

"WASHINGTON - Barack Obama's aunt, a Kenyan woman who has been living in public housing in Boston, is in the United States illegally after an immigration judge rejected her request for asylum four years ago, The Associated Press has learned...

...Zeituni Onyango, 56, referred to as "Aunti Zeituni" in Obama's memoir, was instructed to leave the United States by a U.S. immigration judge who denied her asylum request, a person familiar with the matter told the AP late Friday... Information about the deportation case was disclosed and confirmed by two separate sources, one of them a federal law enforcement official...

...The Obama campaign declined to comment late Friday night...

...Kenya is in eastern Africa between Somalia and Tanzania. The country has been fractured in violence in recent years, including a period of two months of bloodshed after December 2007 that killed 1,500 people.

The disclosure about Onyango came just one day after Obama's presidential campaign confirmed to the Times of London that Onyango, who has lived in public housing in South Boston for five years, was Obama's half aunt on his father's side.

It was not immediately clear how Onyango might have qualified for public housing with a standing deportation order."
