Expose the Abuse - Pass this Along

This is one of the videos that are a part of the "Mona Lisa Project," a national undercover probe of Planned Parenthood clinics conducted by Live Action, a student-led non-profit.

Live Action Films Officials have stated that this newest release shows how Phoenix Planned Parenthood employees "deliberately neglect their legal obligations to report statutory rape, and instead offer secret abortions."

Rose and co-worker Jackie Stollar, both college students, posed as 15-year-olds to enter two Phoenix Planned Parenthood facilities, seeking information about abortions for a "pregnant" teen. They stated the "boyfriend" was 27, but neither office reported the apparent violation of Arizona's statute requiring that law enforcement be notified immediately if an adult-child sexual relationship is known.

"By keeping information about rapists confidential, Planned Parenthood enables sexual predators to continue violating young girls. If Arizona state authorities investigate Planned Parenthood’s statutory rape reporting practices, they can help bring an end to these crimes," said Rose.

"The undercover footage from the Mona Lisa Project continues to reveal a disturbing pattern in which Planned Parenthood repeatedly covers up the sexual abuse of minors," said Rose. "Planned Parenthood needs to be held accountable and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for harming young girls. It is my hope that others like Mark will investigate Parenthood in their local communities, and put a stop to the public funding."

The Gore Effect

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) had to cancel an appearance Monday at a global warming rally in Washington, D.C., that was hit by a snowstorm because her flight was delayed, her office told CNSNews.com.

Brianna Cayo-Cotter, the spokesman for the Energy Action Coalition that held the rally, told a group of reporters that she had been in contact with Pelosi and that her flight had been delayed because of inclement weather.

A blizzard Sunday night and early Monday morning blanketed the nation’s capital with snow, causing events to be cancelled and delayed across the city.

House Select Energy Independence and Global Warming Chairman Edward Markey (D-Mass.), who was scheduled to speak at the global warming event, also canceled his appearance because of the inclement weather, a spokesman from his committee’s office told CNSNews.com on Monday. .....

The event did occur, however, and despite the lawmakers' absence, about 500 protesters braved temperatures in the mid-20s and congregated on the Capitol lawn. ....

"Global warming activists stormed Washington Monday for what was billed as the nation's largest act of civil disobedience to fight climate change -- only to see the nation's capital virtually shut down by a major winter storm.
Schools and businesses were shuttered, lawmakers cancelled numerous appearances and the city came to a virtual standstill as Washington was blasted with its heaviest snowfall of the winter.
It spelled about six inches of trouble for global warming activists who had hoped to swarm the Capitol by the thousands in an effort to force the government to close the Capitol Power Plant, which heats and cools a number of government buildings, including the Supreme Court and the Capitol."
Nancy Pelosi had planned on attending the global warming protest, but her flight to Washington was canceled due to the weather. This is yet another example of the so-called Gore Effect, which the website Urban Dictionary defines as, "the phenomenon that leads to unseasonably cold temperatures, driving rain, hail, or snow visits an area to discuss global warming." Some examples of the Gore Effect:
  • January 2004: Gore delivers speeches in Boston and New York City on one of the coldest days in either city's history
  • November 2006: Gore visits New Zealand, New Zealand experiences unusually cold October, hurting local Farmers
  • November 15, 2006: Al Gore visits Australia
  • November 16, 2006: Snow falls in Queensland Australia for the first time in at least 65 years.
  • March 2007: Capitol Hill media briefing on global warming canceled due to a snowstorm
  • October 2008: Gore gives global warming speech at Harvard in 125 year record breaking cold temperatures

Killing Girls

What has happened regarding the sanctity of life in a communist, an officially atheistic country (Russia)?

For the last 15 years the population in Russia has decreased at a catastrophic rate. The mortality rate is almost twice as high as the birth rate. The Russian government is trying to encourage women to have more children, but so far the situation remains unchanged.
A graphic documentary touted by its creator as "neither pro-life nor pro-choice" that depicts in intimate detail the disturbing reality of Russia's abortion culture has been released.

"Killing Girls," so named because all the women filmed eventually learned they carried baby girls, is a documentary seven years in the making that discusses the history of abortion in Russia and follows the induced abortions of several young Russian girls. Only one girl in the documentary chooses to keep her daughter.

The film is set in the Center for Family Planning and Reproduction in St Petersburg, where babies are delivered on one floor and aborted on the floor above.

According ot the film, in Russia 80% of women have had at least one abortion. Of these, the average woman has aborted between two and ten times throughout her life, and hundreds of thousands of Russian women each year are permanently stripped of their fertility due to their abortions.

Despite the prevalence of late-term abortion as the country's "birth control" of choice, says the film, the public discussion about abortion is nearly silent.

Is this what we want in America??

It is already beginning to happen:
HB 2354, proposed by state House Majority Leader Barbara Flynn Currie, D-Chicago, states that the government shall not "deny or interfere with an individual's right" to abortion and contraception. The bill would nullify or prevent all common-sense legal restrictions on abortion, including health and safety regulations for abortion facilities, informed consent, and parental notification laws.

Dubbed "Illinois' FOCA (
Freedom of Choice Act)" by pro-life advocates, the bill calls for taxpayer funding of abortion and contraception, and hamstrings the conscience rights of medical personnel who object to abortion or contraception. ....

"If it's enacted, it would authorize any school nurse in any public school to do an abortion without parental knowledge," said Forsythe.

The Illinois Family Institute is calling on constituents to urge House legislators to oppose the bill.

"If this bill is signed into law, Illinois would become a bloody abortion free-for-all," stated the group on its webs.

Communism - an evil Godless Empire

Yes, we are seeing the downfall of freedom and the dawn of communism here in America. People somehow think that it would be good for us to become a communistic country!

Remember the statement: "We Will keep feeding you socialism until you realize you already got communism."

Even though this clip from Glen Beck is several months old. It is still important and it is not to late. It seems to me that those of us who recognize what is happening need to do something more - something to turn the onslaught of events. Even in the dark hours, we must continue to try to change things. We must continue to pray, write letters to our unresponsive congressmen and speak up when others commend this situation.

Governor Kathleen Sebelius - Obama's choice for the secretary of Human and Health Services

Just read this article below from Pro Life Blogs

It is very sad as I learn more about Governor Kathleen Sebelius who was just appointed to become the secretary of Human and Health Services - this article explains what kind of person Kathleen Sebelius is.

After you read this article - if you feel as sick as I do then contact your congressional representatives and let them know you oppose Kathleen Sebelius -- The Susan B Anthony list has made this easy for you to do: Go here

Enter your info (address/name/etc) & a letter will come up for you to send to your reps. with their emails.

Excepts below to read entire article click here

Sebelius has a reputation as a boring, milquetoast, gray, uninspired career politician. The only prominent feature in her political profile is her reputation of being an unswerving pro-abortion whack job. While a state representative, Sebelius fought continually against parental notification, abortion waiting periods, and informed consent laws. As governor she twice vetoed abortion clinic regulation legislation and a bill seeking to curb late-term abortions. And, in spite of evidence of several botched abortions requiring emergency hospitalization - including one abortion death - Sebelius also vetoed bills that would have provided stricter state safety regulations.

Her position favoring abortion is so radical and extreme that Archbishop Joseph Naumann of Kansas City called on her to stop receiving communion until she disowns her support for the "serious moral evil" of abortion.

I'm assuming the only appeal this broad has to The Abortion President is her pro-abortion record and not her expertise on matters of health, which is severely lacking to say the least. Pro-life organization Operation Rescue bought and closed one of the abortion mills that Sebelius referred to as meeting "the highest standards of medical care in the country." The building was later found to be unsafe with mold and roach infestations, out of code plumbing and electrical and overall filthy conditions.

In another display of her impeccable sense of judgment, Sebelius hand-picked attorney general Paul Morrison, who later ran for office as a defender of the abortion industry. After only a few months in office, he was forced to resign amidst reports of having sex in public buildings with a subordinate and abusing his authority to obstruct the investigation of abortion practitioners.

In addition to vetoing every pro-life bill sent to her from the legislature, Sebelius has publicly worked hand-in-hand with abortion celebrity George Tiller who specializes in late-term abortions and, by his own count, has performed over 60,000 acts of baby slaughter.

When not busy injecting lethal doses of Digoxin into the beating hearts of small children, Tiller has been known to hobnob at Governors Sebelius' personal home. In April 2007, Sebelius hosted a party honoring not just Tiller, but his entire staff as well. (One wonders if the party decorations were themed... "Where DID you find those adorable cannula straws and party hats?! Hey, laminaria stick limbo on the lawn!")

Am I the only one who gets a little nauseous at the thought of our nations' top health official socializing with an abortionist who offers women cuddle sessions and photo ops with their dead babies?

It's also interesting to note that at the time of the party, Tiller was under investigation by the Attorney General and Kansas Board of Healing Arts. Two months later, Tiller was criminally charged. Sebelius also attended a raucous party given by Planned Parenthood in May of 2007 in honor of her birthday. Five months later, Planned Parenthood was charged with 107 criminal counts, including 23 felonies related to illegal abortions. (Do we notice a trend here?)

As expected from any criminal coddling champion of women's health, in 2008 Sebelius vetoed SB 386 that would have informed women that if they are being coerced into an abortion, they have the right to refuse. Sebelius' veto effectively insured that forced abortions will continue in Kansas, which guarantees a higher number of emotionally abused and broken women.

She also spent a full 20 years opposing Alexa's Law. The law was so named after the daughter of the Brooks family in Wichita, Kansas, whose daughter and 8 month gestation granddaughter were murdered. Alexa's law has nothing to do with abortion and is simply a measure that protects pregnant women and unborn children from violence. You'd be hard pressed to find many health-conscious individuals opposed to such a measure. And yet, this chick is taking the pro-abused woman theme to a whole new level.

- Gingi Edmonds -
More info from the SBA list:
President Obama has nominated Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius to serve as his Secretary of Health and Human Services. Obama's appointment of Sebelius suggests that he is abandoning his pledge to "find common ground" on abortion. Governor Sebelius' positions on abortion have been anything but common ground. Governor Sebelius has a long track record of extreme pro-abortion stances. She vetoed a bill in Kansas, that would have expanded informed consent measures and protected women from coerced late-term abortions. In April 2007, Sebelius honored notorious late-term abortionist George Tiller and his staff in the Governor's Mansion. The state was not reimbursed for the cost of this political event for over a year. According to records obtained by the Associated Press (AP), photographs from the event show Sebelius pointing with a smile toward Tiller, who is holding a Sebelius campaign t-shirt. Tiller is currently charged with 19 counts of performing illegal late-term abortions, and his trial begins this month. As Secretary of Health and Human Services, Governor Sebelius will have a crucial role overseeing important regulations like those protecting the conscience rights of health care professionals. The American people deserve a Secretary of Health and Human Services who will protect the right of conscience for our doctors and nurses who choose to opt out of abortion procedures for personal or religious reasons. This summer, Archbishop Joseph F. Naumann of the Catholic Archdiocese of Kansas City privately and publicly asked Sebelius to refrain from taking communion due to her pro-abortion actions.

The Obama Budget

Let's call the Obama budget what it really is: "The most audacious attempt in generations to create a government-centered, bureaucratically controlled country." - Newt Gingrich

In Obama's inaugural speech, he said "America has carried on not simply because of the skill or vision of those in high office, but because We The People have remained faithful to the ideals of our forbearers, and true to our founding documents."

"Obama has never made a truer statement. Sadly, like all of his patriotic sounding statements, he did not mean a single word of it." - The Patriot Post

The Obama budget not only rolls back the Bush Tax cuts, it punishes oil companies, dramatically increases carbon taxes--all of which will be passed on to you!

President Obama has already dispatched his team to pressure members of Congress into accepting his massive $3.6 trillion budget plan. The President's budget proposal has $1.6 trillion in tax hikes, but that's not the worst part. The real beast in Obama's plan is his so-called
"carbon tax," that would be the single biggest tax-increasing itemin his budget--and the largest in history!

Go here to read Grassfire's latest release on the Obama budget:

http://www.grassfire.net/r.asp?u=16680&RID=18688599

Way back in November, when the Obama team was still flush with victory in the election, Obama White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel laid out what he called "Rule One":

"Never let a crisis go to waste."

The Obama budget plan unveiled last week is proof that the goal of the administration is not economic recovery. The goal is an unprecedented shift of power to politicians and bureaucrats....

Which America Do We Want?

Ronald Reagan believed that at the center of American life was the individual. The entrepreneur. The worker. The doer. The family man and woman.

The Obama budget reveals a very different vision of the men and women at the center of American life.

They are the politicians. The bureaucrats. The interest groups that support an ever expanding government sector.

And so the American people are presented with a real choice: Which America do we want?

An America in which citizens and entrepreneurs are free and hold the power?

Or an American in which politicians and bureaucrats dominate and are in charge?...

Don't Punish Business for Locating Overseas. Encourage businesses to Come to America to Create American Jobs

...The United States imposes the second highest business taxes of any industrialized nation in the world. While countries like Ireland tax corporations at 12.5%, and even our neighbor Canada is moving its national business tax rate to 15% (the lowest among the G-7 countries), the United States taxes businesses at a whopping 35%. And a number of states have corporate income taxes on top of that.

Inevitably, high taxes in the U.S. cause some businesses to locate some or all of their business in lower tax countries overseas....

But if President Obama were serious about wanting to create jobs, he wouldn't be thinking up ways to punish companies for wanting to relocate overseas.

If President Obama were serious about creating and keeping American jobs he would be thinking of ways to make companies want to bring their jobs and capital to America - and keep them here.

....At a time when charitable donations are suffering because of the economic downturn, President Obama's budget discourages charitable giving by those Americans with the most to give by limiting the charitable giving deduction.

And at a time when cratering housing prices are driving the recession, President Obama's budget discourages home ownership by those Americans who could most positively impact housing prices by limiting the mortgage interest deduction.

President Obama's Budget Message: Bureaucratic government is the solution, and we no longer have a choice about it.
from Newt Gingrich

The Congress of the '90s steadied and strengthened the economy by following four priorities and principles, which are being turned on their heads at this moment by the present administration. As Newt noted in his excellent book Real Change, Congress' top priorities were to:

  • Cut taxes to increase economic growth and therefore increase revenues (unlike Obama's tax hikes, which will retard economic growth and depress revenues).
  • Set priorities and increase spending in key areas while reducing it in nonessential areas (unlike Obama's fiscal priorities of health care, energy and education, which are based not upon what is best for the economy but what is reflective of typical partisan preferences and doing what is politically expedient).
  • Eliminate pork-barrel spending (unlike the 9,000 earmarks in the present $410 billion omnibus spending bill, which is nothing short of absolute economic ludicrousness, mismanagement and waste within our present crisis).

  • Shift from expensive, wasteful systems to smarter spending; look at not only more inexpensive ways but also more productive ones (unlike Obama's theory to spend our way to prosperity, which is a sure way to sink America).
Our government is hemorrhaging money. The nanny state is becoming the norm. Our Founders are rolling in their graves. And at this very moment, Washington's credit-crazy and debt-accumulating addiction is dissolving our sovereignty like a sugar cube in coffee by handing our financial autonomy over to other nations. In other words, Rome is burning, and Caesar is stoking the fire!

Time is running out, but it's not too late to reverse Washington's fiscal frenzy. Don't just write to your representatives; hound them to live and legislate by the preceding four proven priorities and principles of governmental and monetary prudence.
from Chuck Norris

This story below illustrates what the high taxes will do to small businesses:
Consider what this means to the owner of a restaurant and bar in Los Angeles open from noon to midnight, where a husband and wife each put in 80 hours a week.

At year's end, the couple finds they have actually made a profit of $500,000 that they can take home in salary.

What is the Obama-Schwarzenegger tax take on that salary?

Their U.S. tax rate will have hit 39.6 percent.

Their California income tax will have hit 9.55 percent.

Medicare payroll taxes on the proprietor as both employer and salaried employee will be $14,500. Social Security payroll taxes for the proprietor as both employer and employee will be $13,243.

In short, U.S. and state income and payroll taxes will consume half of all the pair earned for some 8,000 hours of work.

From that ravaged salary they must pay a state sales tax of 8.25 percent, gas taxes for the 50-mile commute, and tens of thousands in property taxes on both their restaurant and home. And, after being pilloried by politicians for having feasted in the Bush era, they are now told the tax deduction they get for contributing to the church is to be cut 20 percent, while millions of Obama voters, who paid no U.S. income tax at all, will be getting a tax cut -- i.e., a fat little check -- in April.

Be a Voice for the Unborn

A very powerful, touching video - Grab a Kleenex. Please be a voice for the unborn! Tell the world they want to live, Tell the world they're not a choice - but a life, please don't look the other way. Please be a voice!

This is a powerful video as well.

"The reality of abortion is very different than the perception of abortion. When the truth is presented and understood, minds change. When minds change, lives are saved. When enough minds change, public policy will change." - abort73.com

To learn more of the truth of what is happening in the Legal Abortion Clinics of America -click here: Suction Abortion, Dismemberment - Dilation and Evacuation Abortion, Prostaglandin Abortion, Dilation and Extraction Abortion, and Baby Body Parts for sale

Pro-abortionists want us to believe that they are pro-family, but at every turn they fight efforts to keep parents informed before their minor daughters are about to undergo an abortion. The abortion industry claims to be pro-woman , yet they argue against laws that insure a woman's right know what abortion is, what abortion does to her unborn child as well as the long term effects of abortion and the link between abortion and breast cancer.

They try to say that they are pro-child, yet they lobbied against the Unborn Victims of Violence Act which affords protection to unborn children against acts of violence.

And finally, they claim to be pro-choice, but the mere mention of a 24-hour waiting period sends them into a shrill panic. The abortion industry wants women to abort and to abort now – and the truth be damned.

Every abortion stops a beating heart and it is all a bloody messy ordeal.

"The truth is really hard. But the truth is never inconsequential. It's always here. There are people who will try to corrupt it, pervert it, derail it, taint it, but the truth is the truth. It will prevail. Truth is its own defense and it is a complete defense.

There is a pattern with the mainstream media and the issues that surround abortion and its racist overtones. They don't like the truth, they won't tell the truth, they won't report the truth, and they won't let you see the truth. The truth is being subverted.

It is our job at NRLC to make sure that the truth will prevail. One by one, community by community, state by state." - National Right to Life PAC

blogging

I've haven't been feeling the best in the last few weeks - so I haven't been blogging as much nor visiting as many sites lately. But I'm still here & I'll be around to your sites in the next few days!!! Thanks for visiting here and for your comments....

Here's a quote I found on the importance of blogging.
"More so now than ever the work of bloggers I think is extremely important," said Peter Shinn, founder and president of Pro-Life Unity, a networking service for pro-life organizations and individuals. Shinn urged the bloggers to support each other in their efforts, and not succumb to the terminology of the culture of death. "I think we should take the kind words away, and make them difficult. Let's make it a difficult topic," said Shinn.

Blogger Shaun Kenney said that, at a time when the mainstream media refuses to cover pro-life news, blogging "enables the community to start being the leaders themselves." "The change isn't going to come from some new organization in Washington," said Kenney; rather, change is going to come from "those who are able to reach out ... through alternative means - namely, new media. It's free, and it's effective."

Keep up the Good Work Everyone!!

Obama Presses Forward with Culture of Death

President Barack Obama signed an executive order to allow federal funding of research that will require the killing of human embryos.

This order reverses a policy instituted by former President George W. Bush in August 2001, which funded research on already-existing stem cell lines without encouraging any further destruction of human life.

While making the announcement, Obama said that he would seek to “ensure that our government never opens the door to the use of cloning for human reproduction.” But neither in his remarks nor in the executive order itself did he say anything about stopping human cloning for purposes other than human reproduction—such as cloning human embryos in order to extract their stem cells for research.

Understand that the ability of research facilities and universities to commit to this research has never been limited by law or the government . The only thing that President Bush did was prevent the use of your tax dollars form being used to fund it. The reason the private sector will not fund this research is because they have found it leads them literally to a dead end. Embryonic stem cell research has not produced any positive results. The research requires the destruction of human life and has NEVER helped a single patient.

Daniel S. McConchie, vice-president of government affairs for Americans United for Life, wrote, “Ten years after the first isolation of embryonic stem cells, there is not a single disease that these cells can cure.” He adds, “Scientists have been conducting research on mouse embryonic stem cells for over 25 years and are yet unable to cure mice.”

So guess what? The private and university money has gone into ADULT stem cell research, induced pluripotent stem cells, and neonatal stem cells (found in the used placenta and umbilical cord) research --which can be obtained without doing the donor any harm-- and this kind of stem cell research (without killing days-old unborn children) is helping patients and saving lives now and has produced better results.

There is a safer way to produce Stem Cell Alternatives:

"Scientists have developed what appears to be a safer way to create a promising alternative to embryonic stem cells, boosting hopes that such cells could sidestep the moral and political quagmire that has hindered the development of a new generation of cures."
Indeed, this could well be the year--of ethically acceptable, far more promising venues than hollowing out human embryos.

Those of you who have followed the intense debate over embryonic stem cell research know that one of the most promising alternatives is to reprogram adult stem cells (typically skin cells)--to send them back in time, so to speak. The Washington Post's Rob Stein put it this way: to "coax skin cells into a state that appears biologically identical to embryonic stem cells." ...

Last year Andras Nagy and a team of scientists at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto started to investigate a new reprogramming method. Soon afterwards they began collaborating with a British group led by Keisuke Kaji at the University of Edinburgh, according to the Star. (Their findings were reported Sunday in a pair of complementary papers in the journal Nature.)

"In the new work, Nagy and his colleagues in Toronto and at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland instead used a sequence of DNA known as a transposon, which can insert itself into the genetic machinery of a cell," Stein reported. "In this case, the researchers used a transposon called 'piggyBac' to carry four genes that can transform mouse and human embryonic skin cells into iPS cells. After the conversion took place, the researchers removed the added DNA from the transformed cells using a specific enzyme."

"This double sequence of non-virus delivery and complete removal of growth factors is what makes the finding so important for future research on patients," the Star reported. "Nagy likens the process to a space shuttle ditching its rocket once the fuel has burned up and the shuttle has reached space."

Stein provided quotes from two well-known researchers.

"It's very significant," said George Q. Daley, a stem cell researcher at Children's Hospital in Boston. "I think it's a major step forward in realizing the value of these cells for medical research."

"It's very exciting work," agreed Robert Lanza, a stem cell researcher at Advanced Cell Technology in Worcester, Mass. "With the new work, we're only a hair's breadth away from the biggest prize in regenerative medicine -- a way to create patient-specific cells that are safe enough to use clinically."

Naturally, some, while praising the research, insisted that work on embryonic stem cells research should continue. But what is clear is that the field of ethically acceptable alternatives is progressing by leaps and bounds. The following quote says it all.

"Stem cell research that requires destroying embryos is going the way of the Model T," Richard M. Doerflinger of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops told Stein. "No administration that values science and medical progress over politics will want to divert funds now toward that increasingly obsolete and needlessly divisive approach."

Scientists used embryonic skin cells for this study, but are confident that it will work in adult cells as well.

Read this story about the use of adult stem cells to have regenerate bone mass. Read the story of a Blind Girl who can now see thanks to Umbilical Cord Based Adult Stem Cell Treatment.

Much of the press coverage anticipating Obama's order continued to ignore or downplay the striking advances made in recent years in research using stem cells from non-embryonic sources, including adult stem cells and reprogrammed adult body cells (iPSCs). Do No Harm, a coalition of scientists and researchers opposed to embryo-killing stem cell research, has posted a list of over 70 different disorders for which there have been one or more peer-reviewed scientific studies showing a measure of positive benefits in human patients.

AGAIN -In contrast, Embryonic stem cells can only be obtained by killing the embryo, and embryonic stem cells have yet to benefit a single human patient, and have proven most adept at generating tumors. A report last month that fetal stem cells caused a tumor in an Israeli boy who was given an experimental treatment for a rare brain disease.

However we don't hear these facts on the mainstream media - all we hear is from those who felt that the federal funding ban contributed to their personal tragedies. None of the reports on ABC or CBS mentioned the fact that researchers have found 73 different diseases that can be helped by adult stem cells, including Type 1 diabetes, spinal cord injuries and Parkinson’s disease. And again, embryonic stem cells haven’t produced a single positive result.

This breakthrough naturally begs the question: Can we stop destroying human embryos for their biological material now? Since embryos (just like fetuses and newborns and infants and adults) are human beings, embryonic stem cell research is unjust and unjustified. It is the killing of one person (actually many persons) in the theoretic attempt to save other people. Is it justifiable to kill one person in order to spare someone else from disease?

The embryonic stem cell research in particular (which is itself built on abortion) steals from tiny human beings the chance at life. They say to unborn children, "you're better off dead... the tiny cells from your unformed body are worth more to us than the entire sum of your future life... we have the choice, and so you don't get a chance." The value of individual human beings is sacrificed to the "greater good", which has been the historic basis for all sorts of social atrocities.

"It is a sad day when the federal government will fund research that exploits living members of the human species as raw material for research," said Douglas Johnson, a spokesman for the National Right to Life Committee. "Obama's order also places our society on a very steep, very slippery slope. Many researchers will not be satisfied to use only so-called surplus embryos. Many researchers are already demanding federal support for research in which human embryos would be created for the specific purpose of research, through human cloning and other methods, and there was nothing in the President's remarks today to limit NIH to the use of so-called surplus embryos created in IVF clinics." ...

Obama also issued a second directive purporting to free federally sponsored scientific research from the influence of "ideology." Johnson commented, "Giving an absolutely free hand to elites of specialists can result in the ideology of the specialists being imposed on society as a whole. Scientific endeavors that utilize human subjects or otherwise pose dangers to innocent human life must always be subject to oversight by society as a whole, through regular democratic processes." (info from National Right to Life)

"President Obama's new executive order on embryonic stem cell research is a sad victory of politics over science and ethics," said Cardinal Justin Rigali, chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops' Committee on Pro-Life Activities.

"This action is morally wrong because it encourages the destruction of innocent human life, treating vulnerable human beings as mere products to be harvested. It also disregards the values of millions of American taxpayers who oppose research that requires taking human life. Finally, it ignores the fact that ethically sound means for advancing stem cell science and medical treatments are readily available and in need of increased support." ....

...."Science makes it clear that from fertilization a new human being exists, distinct from the father or mother, with his or her own internal principle directed toward continuing development towards adulthood. ... Providing public funding to support research on cells obtained through the destruction of human beings, especially at their most vulnerable stages, is an affront to the dignity of all persons, and beneath the moral stature of the United States of America."

Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense Coalition, accused Obama of ignoring social justice and human rights: "Medical science has confirmed that an embryo is human life regardless of President Obama's lack of education and understanding of the issue.

"Mr. Obama has said in the past it is 'above his pay grade' to know when human life begins," said Mahoney. "I would suggest as part of the billions spent on the stimulus package that the President's salary be raised so he could further his adult education to understand the basic facts of biology and social justice."

The Nazi scientists who experimented with eugenics or measuring the human reactions of subjects as they froze to death, were practicing science: ghoulish, even devilish science to be sure, but science nonetheless. Setting science above moral considerations is the age-old myth of neutrality, and the subtle self-deception of one who mistakes his view for objective truth.

Taxpayers should not have to foot the bill for experiments that require the destruction of human life!

Obama has used the president's pen to create and damn millions of innocent children around the world to death, all in his bizarre mutilation of the concept of "humanity."

If Americans will go along with this, they will go along with anything!

If life itself is not sacred, then nothing on earth is sacred anymore!

Thomas Jefferson -"I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that his justice cannot sleep forever."

President Obama not long ago told the American people that he would support policies to reduce abortions, but today he is effectively guaranteeing more abortions by funding experiments that destroy human life.

Journalism in major media outlets regarding President Obama's recent decision (3/9/09) to force taxpayers to pay for Human Embryonic Stem Cell Research (HESCR) was so poorly reported. Read this analysis of what you likely either missed or were misinformed about if the mainstream media was your only source for information: 9 Things the Media Messed Up About the Obama Stem Cell Story
The media "should attempt to present the pertinent facts in any given story to help the public gain a well-rounded understanding of the issues at hand. This simply didn't happen in the Obama/stem cell story."

Principles of Freedom

This was a very inspiring video.
We as citizens have the responsibility to stand up for the principles of freedom that made our country great.

The Bailout Explained

This videos funny - or should I say very sad - because it explains how our government is thinking now.

Here's another story to illustrate:

How the economic stimulus works

"Young Barry in Illinois bought a horse from a farmer for $100.
The farmer agreed to deliver the horse the next day.
The next day the farmer drove up and said, "Sorry son, but I have some bad news... the horse died."
Barry replied, "Well, then just give me my money back."
The farmer said, "Can't do that. I went and spent it already."
Barry said, "Ok, then, just bring me the dead horse."
The farmer asked, "What ya gonna do with him?"
Barry said, "I'm going to raffle him off."
The farmer said, "You can't raffle off a dead horse!"
Barry said, "Yes, I can. Watch me. I just won't tell anybody he's dead."
A month later, the farmer met up with Barry and asked, "What happened with that dead horse?"
Barry said, "I raffled him off. I sold 500 tickets at two dollars apiece and made a profit of $898."
The farmer said, "Didn't anyone complain?"
Barry said, "Just the guy who won. So I gave him his two dollars back."

Barry now works for the government."

The Republican Party stands ready to work together in a bipartisan manner with the Democrat leaders in Congress and the President to open new markets to American exporters, create more jobs at home and grow the economy.

But we will not march lock-step with the President and Democrats when they are wrong. The recently passed "stimulus" bill was one such example. Republicans were unified in our disagreement with Congressional Democrat leaders and President Obama on this bill. It comes down to this: The Democrat plan focused on putting Americans on the public dole, while the Republican plan focused on putting America back to work.

Governor Jindal laid out the differences between Republicans and Democrats. In his own words: "We think it's more important to get the private sector moving rather than just spending government money."

Mitt Romney also shares his ideas on how to stimulate the economy, and what conservatives must do in order to right the direction of this country again. His powerful testimony shows us why the future of conservatism is alive and well in this country!

"The President has already moved to stop our economy’s downward spiral. Parts of the stimulus will, in fact, do some good. But too much of the bill was short-sighted and wasteful. Every single Republican in Congress voted in favor of a better stimulus plan, one that focused on creating jobs immediately. But Congressional Democrats couldn’t restrain themselves from larding up their bill with tens of billions of dollars for their political friends. Republicans wanted to stimulate the economy, Democrats wanted to stimulate the government. Conservatives in the House and Senate stood their ground and voted no—and they were absolutely right." - Mitt Romney - read the rest of his speech at CPAC here
