Kagan played doctor and babies died....

In 1996, as an associate to President Clinton, Kagan recommended that ACOG add language indicating that partial birth abortion "may be the best or most appropriate procedure in a particular circumstance to save the life or preserve the health of a woman"—a direct contrast to ACOG’s original draft statement which said under no circumstance would partial birth abortion be the only option to save the life of the mother. Ms. Kagan’s willingness to bend medical facts to support an ideological point of view is inconsistent with the temperament required of a Justice on the U.S. Supreme Court.

Passing along this information below - from Liberty Counsel:

Any abortion involves the killing of an unborn child, but
the gruesome procedure called partial-birth abortion (PBA)
is grotesquely inhumane. PBA is closely akin to infanticide.

For several years, Supreme Court jurisprudence on partial-
birth abortion relied upon evidence that was manipulated by
Elena Kagan in political service of the Clinton White House.
It led the Court to strike down Nebraska's ban on PBA in
2000 as being unconstitutional. From 2000 until 2007, PBA
was "legal" in America until the Supreme Court eventually
upheld the PBA ban in June 2007.

John Adams said, "Facts are stubborn things."

Fact: Elena Kagan's "handwritten notes" are proof of her
manipulation of expert medical evidence submitted by the
American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG)
to the Supreme Court.

Fact: Her revised wording, which was quoted in the Court's
2000 majority opinion, played a key role in the horrendous
procedure continuing until President George W. Bush signed
a new ban into law in November of 2003, which ban was later
upheld in 2007.

Fact: Kagan never divulged to the Court that she was the
one who, in fact, had changed ACOG's official statement.

Fact: Kagan's radical political activism drove her to
manipulate expert testimony and to later avoid admitting
the fact that she had done so.

The Washington Times says Kagan "may be more
responsible than anyone for keeping partial-
birth abortion legal for an extra decade."

This nominee has been described as President Barack Obama's
ideological clone - and fellow academic elitist.

In any other period of American history, Kagan's
hand-written memo would be the "kiss of death"
for her confirmation!

In the final analysis, Elena Kagan's past actions
show that she is a political operative who would
use a seat on the Supreme Court to advance a
radical political agenda.

++Kagan undermines Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).

Reports are emerging that Elena Kagan has been working in the
shadows to sabotage the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" law and "The
Defense of Marriage Act." According to several sources,
Solicitor General Kagan's signals that the government will
not effectively defend DOMA made it possible for Judge Joseph
L. Tauro to strike down parts of DOMA in Massachusetts earlier
this month.

He deemed the state's DOMA unconstitutional by ruling that
the law, which defines marriage as one man and one woman
for federal purposes, has no rational basis - solely because
the Department of Justice refused to give one. The ruling
initially only affects Massachusetts, but is considered to
be a model ruling for other states.

The president of the Massachusetts Family Institute
said, "[The ruling is] another blatant example
of a judge playing legislator!"

And Elena Kagan admitted in written responses to Senators'
questions that she personally participated in a meeting in
which she compromised the United States' position in a case
against the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy (DADT) being brought
by the Log Cabin Republicans.

Elena Kagan's actions as Solicitor General to
undermine the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy and
"The Defense of Marriage Act" provide further
evidence that she allows her ideological biases
to trump her clear-cut duty!

Elena Kagan is just not experientially qualified or discerning
enough in judgment to get past her own political views while
rendering judgment as a Supreme Court Justice.

In a special report from Liberty Counsel's Washington, DC,
office, we reveal the true Elena Kagan, "In Her Own Words."

This is Elena Kagan, in her own words, regarding precedence
and the Constitution...

"I think that there are some circumstances in
which looking to the original intent is the
determinative thing in a case and other
circumstances in which it is likely not to
be. And I think, in general, judges should
look to a variety of sources when they interpret
the Constitution, and which take precedence in
a particular case is really a kind of
case-by-case thing."

Kagan's calculated answers during her hearings were a masterful
performance of avoiding clear statements about her true
positions. Yet, the hearings revealed enough of her
political leanings, activist views and questionable
judicial philosophies for our Washington office to
produce a five-page summary written largely in KAGAN'S
OWN WORDS.

This document is a must-read for all Liberty
Counsel team members who are standing in the
gap opposing the nomination of Elena Kagan.
We have been told that many of our supporters
are printing multiple copies and passing it
out in civic groups and other places.

A SUMMARY:

*ANTI-FAMILY: Elena Kagan’s zeal for “homosexual rights” will taint her rulings on pro-family cases.
*ANTI-FAITH: Kagan has expressed hostility toward faith-based organizations and would limit their impact on public policy decisions.
*ANTI-MILITARY: Kagan opposes the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy and banned military recruiters from the Harvard Law School campus during a time of war in protest of such “discrimination.”
*ANTI-SOVEREIGNTY: Kagan’s views on transnational law undermine America’s self-rule and national sovereignty.
*ANTI-CONSTITUTION: Kagan has called the Constitution “defective” and shares President Obama’s view that we should have an “evolving” or “living” Constitution, thus marginalizing its ultimate legal authority. She has written about a supposed need to increase the power of the Executive Branch at the expense of legislative bodies.

Welcome to Obamaland!

"What does the triumvirate of Obama-Pelosi-Reid offer?

Rep. Barney Frank is calling for new tax hikes on the most successful and a 25 percent across-the-board slash in national defense. Sen. John Kerry is talking up new and massive federal spending, a la FDR's New Deal. Specifically, we can almost surely expect:

-- Swift amnesty for 12 million to 20 million illegal aliens and a drive to make them citizens and register them, as in the Bill Clinton years. This will mean that Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona will soon move out of reach for GOP presidential candidates, as has California.

-- Border security will go on the backburner, and America will have a virtual open border with a Mexico of 110 million.

-- Taxes will be raised on the top 5 percent of wage-earners, who now carry 60 percent of the U.S. income tax burden, and tens of millions of checks will be sent out to the 40 percent of wage-earners who pay no federal income tax. Like the man said, redistribute the wealth, spread it around.

-- Social Security taxes will be raised on the most successful among us, and capital gains taxes will be raised from 15 percent to 20 percent. The Bush tax cuts will be repealed, and death taxes reimposed.

-- Two or three more liberal activists of the Ruth Bader Ginsberg-John Paul Stevens stripe will be named to the Supreme Court. U.S. district and appellate courts will be stacked with "progressives."

-- Special protections for homosexuals will be written into all civil rights laws, and gays and lesbians in the military will be invited to come out of the closet. "Don't ask, don't tell" will be dead.

-- The homosexual marriages that state judges have forced California, Massachusetts and Connecticut to recognize, an Obama Congress or Obama court will require all 50 states to recognize.

-- A "Freedom of Choice Act" nullifying all state restrictions on abortions will be enacted. America will become the most pro-abortion nation on earth.

-- Affirmative action -- hiring and promotions based on race, sex and sexual orientation until specified quotas are reached -- will be rigorously enforced throughout the U.S. government and private sector.

-- Universal health insurance will be enacted, covering legal and illegal immigrants, providing another powerful magnet for the world to come to America, if necessary by breaching her borders.

-- A federal bailout of states and municipalities to keep state and local governments spending up could come in December or early next year.

-- The first trillion-dollar deficit will be run in the first year of an Obama presidency. It will be the first of many.

Welcome to Obamaland!

Buchanan forgot to mention guns will be banned, the Fairness Doctrine will probably be re-instated, we'll have an energy -carbon emission tax, homosexual lifestyles will be taught in the schools and forced on churches, and more.

"If Barack Obama wins this election, one thing is certain... he will preside over the largest expansion of the government's role in the economy since the 1930s.

This "New New Deal," as some Democrats are already calling it, may well have the same result as the original one: to turn a sharp, painful recession into a long Depression.

Will that set the stage for a GOP president in 2012 -- the way '70s stagflation under Jimmy Carter set the stage for Ronald Reagan? I doubt it. More likely, Obama will be able to parlay the hard economic times into a second term.

How? The same way FDR did… by blaming everything that happens on his watch on his predecessors. The worse things get, the more the Obamacrats will blame it on "eight years of Republican deregulation, tax cuts and greed," calling for even more government intervention as the solution.

And the media, of course, will back them up."

from Dick Morris - http://humanevents.com/

"There is no mistaking what is coming. Even before Democrats won sweeping, one-party control of Washington, they had made their intentions to increase taxes and spending clear.

With 11 days to go before the election, House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank (D-MA) fleshed out some details of the massive spending package. Frank called for a 25 percent cut in defense spending and conceded that Democrats will raise taxes to pay for new government spending. If they couldn’t get the votes in November, Frank was confident that they would have them in January.

And long before the election, President-elect Barack Obama had expressed his preference for wealth redistribution over wealth creation both on the campaign trail and in a startling radio interview in 2001, in which he claims the Warren Court was not radical enough.

For candidates, campaign managers, and consultants who are disturbed at this look at the very near future, there is another way.

But that way begins now. Today.

To avoid defeat on November 4 and avoid an out-of-control spending spree in the new Congress, the voters have to be given a real choice on Election Day.

• A choice between robust government spending and robust economic growth;
• A choice between higher spending and lower taxes;
• A choice between spreading the wealth around and increasing it through rapid economic recovery.

Because when Americans are asked to make these choices, our answers are clear and unequivocal.

We trust the private sector to grow the economy more than government. We favor keeping our money over giving it to Washington. We favor creating more wealth over redistributing the wealth we’ve worked for and saved.

In the meantime, there is no time to waste. Republicans and center-right independents and Democrats can give the voters a real choice in the election, or we can lose our choice in the congressional special session to come.

Either way, you can’t say we weren’t warned."

Obama - I don't want my daughters "Punished With A Baby"

My babies are one of God's Greatest Gifts to me. My family means everything to me. The whole purpose of my life, is to follow Christ and live righteously so that I can live with my family eternally with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again. Babies are not a punishment. Can you believe Obama states this and actually wants us to believe that babies are punishment!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!??

Barack Hussein Obama says he doesn't want his daughters "punished with a baby" as a result of a "mistake" and uses this rationale to promote teaching his daughters and the young girls in elementary schools around the USA about condoms, birth control, and the whole Planned Barrenhood child sex advocate curriculum.

That's what Planned Barrenhood and Obama and the public school system truly are - CHILD SEX ADVOCATES

These comments appear to align Obama squarely with abortion advocates who view laws protecting unborn children as "punishing" pregnant women by forcing them to give birth to the baby instead of taking the child's life through abortion.

An Interview with Gordon B. Hinkley

Interesting Quotes from Larry King Live Interview with Gordon B Hinkley.
for complete transcripts see: http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0412/26/lkl.01.html

KING: Is it important to you that the president be as - for want of a better term - religious as he is? Does that comfort you that politics and religion somehow have come together in this administration?

HINCKLEY: The president of the United States? Yes. I'm glad to see that he is religious, that he does pray. I believe in prayer, in divine power. And I'm grateful that he's a prayerful man, yes. (talking about Bush)

KING: Do you like the president's idea of faith-based initiatives? Having various churches get involved in things that previously government was involved in?

HINCKLEY: Well, I think that the churches do a better job in many respects than the government does in various kinds of things. Extending aid, the helpfulness, and so on, yes.

KING: ... we were all people. But as the mores have changed - for example, I know that the Church is opposed to gay marriage.

HINCKLEY: Yes.

KING: Do you have an alternative? Do you like the idea of civil unions?

HINCKLEY: Well, we're not anti-gay. We are pro-family. Let me put it that way. And we love these people and try to work with them and help them. We know they have a problem. We want to help them solve that problem.

KING: A problem they caused, or they were born with?

HINCKLEY: I don't know. I'm not an expert on these things. I don't pretend to be an expert on these things. The fact is, they have a problem.

KING: Do you favor some sort of state union?

HINCKLEY: Well, we want to be very careful about that, because that - whatever may lead to gay marriage, we're not in favor of. We - many people don't get married. Goodness sakes alive. You know that. Many people who have to discipline themselves. If they transgress, they become subject to the discipline of the Church. But we try in every way that we know how to help them, to assist them, to bless their lives.

KING: You once said that you didn't like women working outside the house. Has that changed? The realities of economic life?

HINCKLEY: I think we're paying a price for it ...

KING: Explain.

HINCKLEY: ... in family life, in looking after children. The family across America, across the world, is under terrible stress. We all recognize it, I think. You see it. Latch-key children. Gangs in our cities. The absence of a mother in the home is a very serious thing, I think.

KING: But the absence also of strong financial help causes many, many families to require ...

HINCKLEY: That's ...

KING: ... both people to work.

HINCKLEY: That's true. That's very, very true. But I simply say this. Be careful. Do the very best you can. When all is said and done, the greatest satisfaction you'll have in this life as you grow old will be seeing your children grow in righteousness and faith and goodness as citizens of the society of which they are a part. There'll be no greater satisfaction than the satisfaction you'll gain from your family.
