Obama is living up to our pre-election analysis as the most pro-abortion president ever.

The following is a compilation of bill signings, speeches, appointments and other actions that President Barack Obama has engaged in that have promoted abortion before and during his presidency. He is more radical on life issues than all previous president in the office. His militantly pro-abortion behavior is shown as he has surrounded himself with his pro-abortion friends in the White House that are intertwined with the abortion establishment. He has essentially declared that pro-lifers are terrorist, as the Department of Homeland Security has issued a report on "Rightwing Extremism" and without any rhyme, reason, or evidence; included pro-lifers as part of this "extremism".

While Obama has promised to reduce abortions and find "common ground", and some of his supporters believe that will happen; this long list proves that his only agenda is to wrap abortion's deadly tentacles around every aspect of American culture and continue to aggressively promote this assault on innocent unborn human life. All Christians, God believing people, and humanitarians who voted for Obama and told themselves that "Obama also wanted to reduce abortion and wanted abortions to be "rare" (like he claimed)" as I had several acquiantences who told me this: "Well, I'm not for abortion, but Obama wants to reduce it too".....

- Please read this information below and ask yourself, how has any of Obama's actions helped reduce abortion or make it "rare"? The majority of pro-choicers do not support the hideous and gruesome practice of partial birth abortions or infanticide, however Obama opposed both the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act and the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act. Obama lied about his support for Infanticide as well as his intentions to make abortion "rare" -these were lies he told the public to get elected. The expansion of the radical pro-abortion agenda throughout the USA and the world is a top priority of President Obama. (info below from LifeNews.com)

While Obama has appointed numerous other abortion advocates to key positions, LifeNews.com has only included the appointments that pertain to policies on abortion.

You can find this complete listing online at LifeNews.com at http://www.lifenews.com/obamaabortionrecord.html

The 55-page report that the abortion industry submitted to Obama-Biden transition team where they listed the demands of the abortion industry for Obama’s first 100 days in office. So far, Obama has implemented 10 of the 15 demands that the abortion industry made!

Jill Stanek also compiled an extensive details analysis (list) of Obama's actions as he began his death march as the most anti-life president in U.S. history: 100 Days of Death (excerpts only- to see entire list, please click the link)
This list substantiates Obama's personnel and policies to that end. He actually started way before Day 1:

Day -75: Names pro-abortion Rahm Emmanuel as chief of staff, who earned a 100 percent approval rating from NARAL while congressman.

Day -59: Appoints executive director of EMILY's List, Ellen Moran, as White House communications director.......

.....

Day 57: Makes first pro-abortion judicial pick in former ACLU board member David Hamilton as U.S. circuit judge, who previously blocked implementation of an informed consent law before abortion.

Day 78: Nominates pro-abortion Yale Law School dean Harold Hongju Koh as the State Department's legal adviser, who believes in the international right to abortion and was former clerk to Supreme Court Justice Harry Blackmun, who authored the Roe v Wade decision.

Day 85: Department of Homeland Security releases document calling pro-life activists potential domestic terrorist threats.

Day 94: FDA refuses to appeal court ruling ordering over-the-counter sales of the morning-after pill to 17-year-old girls and boys.

While President Obama appears addicted to campaign mode audience adulation and maintains an extremely heavy travel schedule, he has left his day-to-day operations, policy decisions, and speechwriting in the hands of serious abortion industry and activist players.

Furthermore, by personnel and policy announcements to date, the Obama administration has signaled its intention to push his abortion agenda on the world.

This is only the start.

I also received this article from the National Right to Life regarding more of his actions during his political career and thought I'd pass it along as well:
Throughout his political career as an Illinois state senator and as a U.S. senator, Barack Obama was a strong supporter of the entire agenda of the pro-abortion lobby. He led the opposition even to bills that won support from many other pro-abortion lawmakers, such as the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act and the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act. He consistently opposed any limitations on government funding of abortion on demand. ...

...The imposition of sweeping pro-abortion mandates as part of "health care reform" is currently the top priority of many pro-abortion organizations, such as the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA).

These organizations are pushing for the abortion mandates both in public statements and in less visible lobbying efforts.

In a "wish list" memorandum signed by PPFA and over 60 other pro-abortion organizations and submitted to the Obama transition team in November 2008, the groups said, "It is imperative that the President put forward a health care reform plan that guarantees access to comprehensive, high-quality, affordable health care for all. . . . Comprehensive benefits must include access to the full range of reproductive health services, including contraception, maternity care, and abortion care." (See "Pro-abortion Alliance Submits 55-Page Wish List Memo to Obama Transition," January 2009 NRL News.) ...

(FYI) -PPFA clinics provided over 300,000 abortions in 2007, making the organization the nation's largest abortion provider. At going rates, it appears that over one-third of PPFA-affiliated clinic income is generated by abortions.

What You Can Do Now

Please take a few minutes to communicate with your two U.S. senators and with your representative in the U.S. House of Representatives, to urge them to oppose any federal "health care reform" legislation that does not explicitly exclude abortion.

Here are two of the ways that you can communicate with your federal representatives on this important issue:

(1) Click here to go to the Action Alert on the Legislative Action Center on the NRLC website, or copy and paste this address into your Internet browser address window:

http://www.capwiz.com/nrlc/home/

There you will find a tool that makes it easy to send an appropriate message to both of your U.S. senators and to your U.S. House representative, urging them to vote against any "health care reform" legislation that does not explicitly exclude abortion. When you fill in your mailing address, your messages will automatically be sent by e-mail to your representatives in Congress.

(2) Telephone the U.S. Senate switchboard at 202-224-3121, and ask to be connected to the office of one of your two U.S. senators. Once connected with the senator's office, say that you want to be recorded as urging the senator to oppose any "health care reform" bill unless abortion is explicitly excluded. Tell the staff person that you wish to receive a letter explaining how the senator will vote on this issue, and make sure that the staff person takes down your mailing address for this purpose.

Then, hang up and repeat the process for your second U.S. senator. Finally, repeat the process for your representative in the U.S. House by calling 202-225-3121. If you don't know who represents you in the U.S. House, just give the operator your zip code and you will be connected to the office of the correct House member.

It all seems rather hopeless and overwhelming, but pro-lifers must and will continue to fight the good fight for these LIVES!!

100 Days, 100 Mistakes

The Biggest Threat to the Health of America

(cartoon from Patriot Post)

"In just 100 days, President Obama has been devastatingly effective in moving forward swiftly the most radical, government-expanding agenda in American history.

At home, in everything from his economic policy to his energy policy to his just-announced science policy, President Obama has successfully moved the country from a traditional American model of entrepreneurship and private initiative to a European model of regulation and government control.

Abroad, he has succeeded in his apparent goal to be the un-George W. Bush; replacing aggressive, if sometimes flawed, American leadership with a humbled, weakened America on the world stage.

Judged by these standards, President Obama's first 100 days have been a remarkable success." - Newt Gingrich

(photo from: conservativeamerican.org)

& from Human Events: Obama's 1st 100 Days: Worse Than Our Worst Nightmares

"During his campaign, Barack Obama often spoke of his desire to "remake" America, to be a "transformational" President.

Transforming it.

And over the next few months, President Obama and the Democrats in Congress plan to deliver on that promise. ...

And if they succeed, the country you and I know and love will no longer exist. Everything we conservatives have fought to defend and preserve will have been lost.

In its place will be a country we scarcely recognize. What will it look like? Let me give you a glimpse...

    IT WILL BE AN AMERICA where a majority of citizens receive lavish government handouts and benefits but pay no federal income taxes, meanwhile voting themselves still more benefits from the shrinking minority who do pay taxes -- at ever more "progressive" rates

    IT WILL BE AN AMERICA where "universal health care" means waiting months, even years, for urgently needed treatment -- unless you happen to be politically powerful or connected -- and where all your private medical information is on a government database (don't worry: they promise never to use it against you!)

    IT WILL BE AN AMERICA where "green" ideologues and other nanny-staters dictate what we drive, what we eat, home energy usage, the size of our houses, and even how many children we can have

    IT WILL BE AN AMERICA where our major industries, crippled by government mandates, taxes, and regulations, end up becoming taxpayer-supported dinosaurs that can no longer compete in the global marketplace

    IT WILL BE AN AMERICA where all employers will be forced to hire and promote not according to ability but according to race, gender, and ethnicity -- all in the name of "diversity"

    IT WILL BE AN AMERICA where our once-great centers of finance, industry, culture, and innovation -- from New York to Silicon Valley -- will have gone to seed, while only Washington, D.C., and its environs prosper

    IT WILL BE AN AMERICA, in short, where only politicians, government bureaucrats, and their favored constituencies are able to thrive -- and where the only "liberty" that remains is the government's unlimited freedom to control every aspect of your life

And here's a sampling of the list of 100 mistakes from the New York Post - click the link to read ALL 100 mistakes:

1. "Obama criticized pork barrel spending in the form of 'earmarks,' urging changes in the way that Congress adopts the spending proposals. Then he signed a spending bill that contains nearly 9,000 of them, some that members of his own staff shoved in last year when they were still members of Congress. 'Let there be no doubt, this piece of legislation must mark an end to the old way of doing business, and the beginning of a new era of responsibility and accountability,' Obama said." -- McClatchy, 3/11

2. "There is no doubt that we've been living beyond our means and we're going to have to make some adjustments." -- Obama during the campaign.

3. This year's budget deficit: $1.5 trillion.

4. Asks his Cabinet to cut costs in their departments by $100 million -- a whopping .0027%!

5. "The White House says the president is unaware of the tea parties." -- ABC News, 4/15

6. "Mr. Obama is an accomplished orator but is becoming known in America as the 'teleprompt president' over his reliance on the machine when he gives a speech." -- Sky News, 3/18

7. In early February, the 2010 census was moved out of the Department of Commerce and into the White House, politicizing how federal aid is distributed and electoral districts are drawn.

8. Obama taps Nancy Killefer for a new administration job, First Chief Performance Officer -- to police government spending. But it surfaces that Killefer had performance issues of her own -- a tax lien was slapped on her DC home in 2005 for failure to pay unemployment compensation tax on household help. She withdrew.

9. Turkey tried to block the appointment of Anders Fogh Rasmussen as new NATO secretary general because he didn't properly punish the Danish cartoonist who caricatured Mohammed. France's Nicolas Sarkozy and Germany's Angela Merkel were outraged; Obama said he supported Turkey's induction into the European Union.

10. . . . and he never mentioned the Armenian genocide.

11. The picture of Obama and Hugo Chavez shaking hands.

Exposing the omissions, half-truths and outright lies of the radical Green Agenda

Here's a new blog I'm following: GreenWatchAmerica

GreenWatchAmerica is an organization with a weekly newsletter dedicated to exposing the omissions, half-truths and outright lies of the radical Green Agenda, and to giving a voice to the Global Warming 'Deniers' throughout the scientific community.

The lies are exposed:

If some members of Congress have their way, your household energy bill will go up by $3,100.

Even President Barack Obama admitted this proposal will cause the price of your energy to “necessarily skyrocket.”

Last Friday, Newt testified at the House Energy and Commerce Committee against this proposed massive, job-killing energy tax, which is often called cap-and-trade. (Watch his full testimony here).

The Waxman-Markey bill is essentially a tax on energy companies and other industry that is passed down to every American in the form of higher energy costs and higher costs for anything produced with energy (i.e., food, clothing, entertainment, etc.).

Chairman Emeritus of the Committee John Dingell, a Democrat from Michigan, said during the hearing, “No one in this country realizes that Cap-and-Trade is a tax, and it’s a great big one."

The effort to raise the price of your electricity is fierce and relentless, but fortunately there is bipartisan resistance to this tax, which according to several studies would cause 1.9 million Americans to lose their jobs.

Simply put, this energy tax is a threat to America’s global competitiveness.

Does Al Gore even practice the lies he preaches as he flies off in his carbon producing private jet around the world??? Let's learn some more facts:

The Tale of Two Houses

House #1

A 20 room mansion (not including 8 bathrooms) heated by natural gas. Add on a pool (and a pool house) and a separate guest house, all heated by gas. In one month this residence consumes more energy than the average American household does in a year. The average bill for electricity and natural gas runs over $2400 per month. In natural gas alone, this property consumes more than 20 times the national average for an American home. This house is not situated in a Northern or Midwestern "snow belt" area. It's in the South.

House #2

Designed by an architecture professor at a leading national university. This house incorporates every "green" feature current home construction can provide. The house is 4,000 square feet (4 bedrooms) and is nestled on a high prairie in the American southwest. A central closet in the house holds geothermal heat-pumps drawing ground water through pipes sunk 300 feet into the ground.

The water (usually 67 degrees F) heats the house in the winter and cools it in the summer. The system uses no fossil fuels such as oil or natural gas and it consumes one-quarter electricity required for a conventional heating/cooling system. Rainwater from the roof is collected and funneled into a 25,000 gallon underground cistern. Wastewater from showers, sinks and toilets goes into underground purifying tanks and then into the cistern. The collected water then irrigates the land surrounding the house. Surrounding flowers and shrubs native to the area enable the property to blend into the surrounding rural landscape.

~~~~~
HOUSE #1 is outside of Nashville , Tennessee; it is the abode of the "environmentalist" Al Gore.
HOUSE #2 is on a ranch near Crawford , Texas; it is the residence of ex-President of the United States, George W. Bush.
An "inconvenient truth."
Biden the serial exaggerator - (aka liar)
(cartoon from Patriot Post)
In case you wondered if anyone in the white house is honest.... Here's an article that talks about Biden and his lies.
Carney was referring to two controversial assertions by Biden, the latest coming Tuesday during an interview on CNN.
"I remember President Bush saying to me one time in the Oval Office," Biden began, "'Well, Joe,' he said, 'I'm a leader.' And I said: 'Mr. President, turn and around look behind you. No one is following.'"
The exchange is purely "fictional," said Rove, who was Bush's top political adviser in the White House.
"It didn't happen," Rove, a FOX News contributor and former Bush adviser, told Megyn Kelly in an interview taped for "On The Record." "It's his imagination; it's a made-up, fictional world.
"He ought to get out of it and get back to reality," Rove added. "He's making this up out of whole cloth."
Rove also said few presidents would spend a long time with anybody in the Oval Office, particularly "with all due respect, a blowhard like Joe Biden."
Rove's skepticism was echoed by a variety of other Bush aides, including former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer, chief of staff Andy Card and legislative liaison Candida Wolff.
They also disputed a similar assertion made by Biden in 2004, when the former senator from Delaware told scores of Democratic colleagues at a lunch that he had challenged Bush's moral certitude about the Iraq war during a private meeting in the Oval Office. Two years later, Biden repeated his story about dressing down the president.
"When I speak to the president - and I have had plenty of opportunity to be with the president, at least prior to the last election, a lot of hours alone with him. I mean, meaning me and his staff," Biden said on HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher" in April2006. "And the president will say things to me, and I'll literally turn to the president, say: 'Mr. President, how can you say that, knowing you don't know the facts?' And he'll look at me and he'll say - my word - he'll look at me and he'll say: 'My instincts.' He said: 'I have good instincts.' I said: 'Mr. President, your instincts aren't good enough.'"
On Thursday, Rove ridiculed the claim that Biden spent "a lot of hours alone with" Bush.
"Joe Biden was never alone with the president for more than few moments," Rove said. "There was staff in the room the whole time."
And yet there's more lies that Biden has told. Read the article for more details. You should not exaggerate and lie like this when you are the Vice President of the United States.
The Superstar Obama's Apology Tour
(photo from freerepublic.com)
Great Article from the Wall Street Journal on the President's Apology Tour
...In less than 100 days, he has apologized on three continents for what he views as the sins of America and his predecessors.
Mr. Obama told the French (the French!) that America "has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive" toward Europe. In Prague, he said America has "a moral responsibility to act" on arms control because only the U.S. had "used a nuclear weapon." In London, he said that decisions about the world financial system were no longer made by "just Roosevelt and Churchill sitting in a room with a brandy" -- as if that were a bad thing. And in Latin America, he said the U.S. had not "pursued and sustained engagement with our neighbors" because we "failed to see that our own progress is tied directly to progress throughout the Americas."....
....A superstar, not a statesman, today leads our country. That may win short-term applause from foreign audiences, but do little for what should be the chief foreign policy preoccupation of any U.S. president: advancing America's long-term interests.
click the link & read the entire article - it's well worth the read.
"President Barack Obama came into office apparently believing that his non-traditional background, charisma and good intentions could placate dictators hostile to America and ease global tensions. ... But so far the world's thugs do not seem to appreciate that new goodwill. ... Obama's confusion about the world's bad actors suggests that he needs a general refresher course in the world of thugs. ... Being anti-American and mouthing tired charges about imperialism, colonialism or capitalism do not make a thug authentic or populist. By definition, thugs acquire power illegitimately. They keep it unlawfully. And they exercise it illegally -- regardless of their professed concern for the 'people' or their gripes against America. Thugs are thugs, and they come in all ideologies, colors and religions -- from Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe to North Korea's Kim Jong-il to the late Slobodan Milosevic of Serbia. ... Most of the world's problems are caused by a handful of thugs. Any time one can be isolated and replaced by a consensual government, the world gets just a bit safer. ... So, Mr. President, do not talk to a thug unless you absolutely have to. Do not apologize to -- or put our trust in -- one. And whenever people rise up against a thug, speak out immediately and forcefully on their behalf -- and let the thug, not America, worry about the consequences of the spread of freedom." --Hoover Institution historian Victor Davis Hanson
Openly homosexual Miss USA judge discriminates against Miss California for her beliefs
This story has been going around on the blogs and the news - so I'm sure you have heard it. The openly homosexual blogger and judge of the Miss USA pageant, Perez Hilton, attacked Christian contestant Carrie Prejean – calling her a b-tch and a c---, as well as defacing photos of her with sexually explicit drawings – because she believes marriage should be between a man and a woman. He admitted to giving Prejean a zero score.
At Sunday night's pageant, Prejean was asked the one question she dreaded most, "Vermont recently became the fourth state to legalize same-sex marriage; do you think every state should follow suit?"
Her answer, which suddenly has made her the center of both praise and scorn, included the words, "In my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that's how I was raised and that's how I think it should be – between a man and a woman." ...
The outraged pageant judge later displayed a photo of Prejean speaking into the microphone on his website. In place of the mic, he drew a white outline of a penis on her face. ...
Despite providing a response that ultimately cost her the crown, Prejean stood by her answer.
"I knew at that moment after I answered the question, I knew, I was not going to win because of my answer, because I had spoken from my heart, from my beliefs and for my God," she told NBC's "Today" this morning. "I wouldn't have answered it differently. The way I answered may have been offensive. With that question specifically, it's not about being politically correct. For me it was being biblically correct." ...
In the Fox News interview, Prejean added, "I have no regrets about answering honestly. [Perez Hilton] asked me for my opinion and I gave it to him. I have nothing against gay people, and I didn't mean to offend anyone in my answer."
Hilton also appeared on NBC's "Today," explaining that he demands a Miss USA winner be "politically savvy" and that even though Prejean is a Christian, he doesn't want her "talking about Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, because that's offensive."
Video of the question and Prejean's full answer can be seen here:
Here is the video clip of Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira, calling Miss California Carrie Prejean a “dumb bitch:”
Can you imagine if this story were reversed??? Can you imagine what would happen if a Christian Judge gave a homosexual contestant a score of zero, called her a b---- and a c---, openly criticized her for her beliefs on same sex marriage, and defaced her pictures. Heads would roll. There would be numerous law suits filed for discrimination for hate crimes. But hey since it is only a homosexual discriminating against a Christian; it's somehow perfectly acceptable???
In response to blogger Perez Hilton's outrageous and demeaning comments directed toward Miss California, more and more Americans are beginning to recognize that tolerance is a one-way street for many gay marriage advocates.
Perez Hilton is not a fair judge and should not be a judge for any competition ever! Miss California should NOT have been discriminated against and given a zero score for disclosing her own religious beliefs when asked this personal question.
I totally admire and respect Carrie Prejean for doing the right thing in defending traditional marriage and being true to her beliefs, even though it may have cost her the crown. Bravo to her!! What a true role model she is!! Prejean also holds no animosity toward Perez:
The pageant contestant says she knew afterwards that she was not going to win because of her answer because she "had spoken from my heart, for my beliefs, and for my God..."
Prejean has shared that she is praying for Perez Hilton and has no animosity toward him -- despite his profanity-laced rant against her that he posted on his website following the pageant.
"I can only say to him that I will be praying for him," she told the Today show on Tuesday morning. "I feel sorry for him, I really do. I think he's angry, I think he's hurt. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. He asked me specifically what my opinion was on that subject, and I gave him an honest answer."
However, CNN defends Perez's discriminatory actions (is that any surprise???):
Jane Velez-Mitchell, the Headline News anchor who replaced Glenn Beck after he switched over to the Fox News Channel, vehemently defended Perez Hilton's crude remarks against Miss California USA Carrie Prejean. After TruTV's Lisa Bloom blasted Hilton's use of "the 'B' word and the 'C' word, that rhymes with 'rich and runt,'" Velez-Mitchell replied, "Why is it that people should be very polite when they're told that they're second-class citizens?...If someone said to you...I don't think you should have the right to get married, wouldn't you be ticked off?" ...
Velez-Mitchell herself is not an uninterested party on the wider issue of same-sex "marriage," as she is an open lesbian who defended anti-Proposition 8 protesters during her Headline News program in November 2008: "I believe that gay marriage should be a right for all Americans. In other words, this should be ok across the country."
[This item, by Matthew Balan, was posted Wednesday afternoon, with video, on the MRC's blog, NewsBusters.org: newsbusters.org ]
My Chance
"My Chance," is an extraordinarily beautiful, powerful, and sensitive pro-life song performed by Jaime Thietten. "My Chance" received the "Song of the Year" award at this year's Momentum Award ceremonies in Nashville. (The Momentum Awards are the premier award recognition program for Christian independent artists.)
There is a youtube video that tells the "Story Behind the Song" (www.youtube.com/watch?v=VcBmtaeCDNA).
Early in "My Chance" we learn that the woman has had an abortion which, as an older woman, she grievously regrets. The lyrics are subtle but you don't need the musical video to know how deep are her wounds. (You can watch the video at Jaime's website--www.jtmusic.net.)
When they learned she was pregnant they decided to name the child "Chance." In anticipation, she buys him the "cutest shoes." But told they were "too young to raise a son" and "promised we'd never regret it," she has an abortion. But now "each day we pray that God will understand." Heartbroken, she misses "My Chance."
As the video concludes the woman, much older now, is looking upward, holding the baby shoes she'd purchase lo those many years before. The title's double meaning is revealed in the final verses: "We never got the second chance. He was my one, my only chance. I missed my chance."
At times almost overcome with emotion, Jaime quietly talks about how she and her husband have tried unsuccessfully for a decade to have children. "This song has a little bit of a deeper meaning for me," she says. Jaime is able to see the situation from both sides--families that desperately want children but can't, and women who are pregnant "and don't want their children."
Barely able to speak Jaime says that people "are under the impression "that if the baby is not wanted, then it doesn't need to come into the world. And that's not true because a baby is always wanted. It might not be wanted by you, but it is going to be wanted by someone else, like me."
As if speaking directly to a young girl who is deciding whether to have an abortion, Jaime pleads, "Give that baby a chance. Give me a chance to be a mom. And I think your life will have much bigger meaning--you can be a hero to this baby."
an adoption story below - be the hero give the baby a chance, so many lives are blessed when a woman chooses adoption over abortion.
Domestic Rightwing Extremist
I guess being pro-life and a gun owner and being opposed to big government, illegal immigration, homosexual marriage, and the financial bailouts - I'm a potential domestic terrorist according to this report put out by DHS secretary, and open-borders stalwart Janet Napolitano, anyone who opposes big government control or who opposes "single issues" such as illegal immigration, abortion, gun control, homosexual marriage, the current financial bailouts, and literally a host of other issues could be considered a domestic rightwing extremist! The report "demonizes" people who hold to traditional and biblical values.
Are pro-lifers domestic rightwing extremist???
"Do pro-lifers hate "particular religious, racial, or ethnic groups"? Of course not, and there is not a shred of evidence in the report that suggests we do. In fact, it is the Abortion Industry that targets minority communities.
How about "antigovernment"? Coursing through the veins of every pro-lifer is an abiding faith in the capacity of government to change. That's why we are active in all 50 state legislatures and in the halls of Congress.
I guess even the dim-witted authors of "Rightwing Extremism" grasped that we fit neither of these categories. So they just lumped us in by employing the all-purpose "may" word. Again, not a word to explain why pro-lifers should be tarred with the extremist brush.
From the earliest days of the Obamamania phenomenon, the "mainstream media" has let us know in unsubtle and unmistakable ways that it is close to un-American to criticize what he proposes or what he stands for. We have never allowed that to stop us from opposing the policies of any man who carries water for the Abortion Establishment with both arms. Nor will we." - National Right to Life
This characterization is not only offensive to millions of Americans who hold constitutionally-protected views opposing abortion - but it also raises serious concerns about the political agenda of an agency with a mandate to protect America.
It's time to target the REAL terrorists - and REMOVE the pro-life community from this warning and to protect your First Amendment rights. Sign the petitions below & then, alert your friends and family to this important nationwide campaign. Here are the three petitions:
  • and sign the American Future Fund Petition to fire Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitan. JOIN US IN CALLING FOR HER FIRING HERE, and they will send this petition straight to the White House.
According to this report, our Founding Fathers would also be considered domestic rightwing extremists! The Founders would have been horrified at the bloated federal bureaucracy we have now and the maze of taxes we have to navigate: income taxes, employment taxes, capital gains taxes, estate taxes, corporate taxes, property taxes, Social Security taxes, gas taxes, etc. It was excessive taxation like this that drove the Founders to rebel in the first place.
All of the Founders were opposed to domestic taxes. They regarded high taxes and aggressive tax collectors as tyrannical and always to be guarded against. Patrick Henry warned: "Excisemen may come in multitudes, for the limitation of their numbers no man knows. They may, unless the general government be restrained by a bill of rights or some similar restriction, go into your cellars and rooms and search, ransack and measure everything you eat, drink and wear."
Ronald Reagan would also be considered a domestic rightwing extremist. After all he stated: "The choice before us is clear. I strongly feel that the great majority of Americans believe that nothing would better encourage economic growth than leaving more money in the hands of the people who earn it. It's time to stop stripping bare the productive citizens of America and funneling their hard-earned income into the Federal bureaucracy. ... Americans have always been prepared to pay their fair share, but today they should make it clear to all elected officials that government has gone beyond its bounds and that the people will not tolerate [an] ever-increasing tax burden."
If you haven't yet read this insane report, do so by clicking below:
http://www.grassfire.net/r.asp?U=18235&CID=112&RID=18677675
BUT, who actually associated with real domestic extremist?????
"Sen. John Kerry belonged to an organization of vets that considered assassinating American politicians. (Kerry denied participating in those meetings.) Barack Obama was friends with, and a colleague of, a domestic terrorist whose organization plotted to murder soldiers and their wives at a social at
Fort Dix. A young Hillary Clinton sympathized with the Black Panthers, a paramilitary gang of racist murders and cop killers. Bring that up and you're a paranoid nutcase out of 'Dr. Strangelove.' But if you're terrified of a bunch of citizens who throw tea in the water and demand lower taxes and less government spending, well, that's just a sign of political seriousness. Because everyone knows who the real threat to the country is." --National Review editor Jonah Goldberg
.....hmmmm something the mainstream media forgot to report on......
"There is no factual basis, no specific information that so-called 'right-wing terrorists' are currently planning any acts of violence. In fact, the report says that," he acknowledges. "This report is just filled with rhetoric. It has no specific, factual basis for any of the conclusions they arrive at. ... It (the report) is totally un-American. It violates the Constitution of the United States, and it enables law-enforcement agencies to use this report as a pretext to investigate and harass individuals who have these kinds of beliefs -- and that's why it is so insidious." --Thomas More Law Center President Richard Thompson
Thompson believes Americans ought to be so upset that they demand the report be withdrawn and call for the resignation of Secretary Napolitano. I agree!!
Here is a letter from Michelle Malkin that also states how I feel:
Michelle Malkin » Senators to Napolitano: Show us the data.
April 16, 2009
The Honorable Janet Napolitano
Secretary
The Department of Homeland Security
310 7th street, S.W.
Washington, DC 20528-0150
VIA FASCMILLE
Dear Secretary Napolitano,
We write today concerning the release of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) report titled “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment” prepared by the Extremism and Radicalization Branch, of the Homeland Environment Threat Analysis Division.
While we agree that we must fight extremists who are both foreign and domestic we are troubled by some of the statements your department included as fact in the report titled above, without listing any statistical data to back up such claims.
First, your report states that “Returning veterans possess combat skills and experience that are attractive to rightwing extremists…” without listing any data to support such a vile claim against our nation’s veterans.
Second, the report states that the millions of Americans who believe in the Second Amendment are a potential threat to our national security. Why? Do you have statistics to prove that law-abiding Americans who purchase a legal product are being recruited by so-called hate groups?
Thirdly, the report states that those that believe in issues such as pro-life legislation, limited government, and legal versus illegal immigration are potential terrorist threats. We can assure you that these beliefs are held by citizens of all races, party affiliation, male and female, and should not be listed as a factor in determining potential terror threats. A better word usage would be to describe them as practicing their First Amendment rights.
Also, you list those that bemoan the decline of U.S. stature and the loss of U.S. manufacturing capability to China and India as being potential rightwing extremists. We would suggest that the millions of Americans who have lost their jobs in the manufacturing industry to foreign countries are not potential terror threats, but rather honest Americans worried about feeding their families and earning a paycheck.
In closing, we support the mission of DHS in protecting our country from terror attacks and are proud of the many DHS employees who make this possible in conjunction with our state and local law enforcement. We ask that DHS not use this report as a basis to unfairly target millions of Americans because of their beliefs and the rights afforded to them in the Constitution. We also ask that you provide us with the data that support the unfair claims listed in the report titled above and to present us with the matrix system used in collecting and analyzing this data?
Finally, we look forward to your prompt reply and we offer our assistance to DHS in our shared effort to fight terrorism both home and abroad by using data that is accurate and independent of political persuasion.
Tea Party Update
I actually live in the Northwest, but we are moving down to Texas (hopefully sooner than later - depending on the market & how fast we can get our house finished.) We bought land in New Braunfels, Texas a couple of years ago & took a trip down to Texas last week to visit & relax. So we weren't able to attend our T.E.A. party in Portland, OR - but we were able to attend the T.E.A. party in Austin, TX at the capital (late afternoon). It was fabulous to renew our spirit and to be with other conservatives who value our freedoms. A peaceful, law-abiding and amazing time was had by all! . 5000+ folks attended. After the speeches (from State Senator Dan Patrick, Congressman Michael McCaul, Republican activist Joe Petronis, and Free Market Foundation's Jonathan Saenz.) and songs, we walked from the Capitol to the Lake. The crowds walked down Congress Avenue to ceremonially dump boxes into Lady Bird Lake, the crowd stretched from Cesar Chavez Street to the steps of the Capitol. In response, police had to block off four lanes of the street during rush hour.While marching, the crowd spanned from the lake up to the hill! Very impressive. Crates of tea were thrown in the lake and picked up by wild Indians in canoes.
CNN had some but protrayed the crowds as “angry”. This was definitely not true, we were concerned, worried, fearful and disgusted by what is happening to our country - but it was definitely not an angry, violent mob of protesters.
In an amazing display of free-market ideals, hundreds of thousands turned out for tea parties across the country! It empowered conservatives to continue to fight the good fight. It was a great success in that the rally awakened the silent majority of our country to become involved and to understand that many others like themselves are interested in furthering the prosperity of this nation through adherence to our constitutional principles. I am so glad we were able to be a part of it.
Here are some photos from the day, my husband took tons of all the signs we saw - but here are a few general photos.
Later that evening we watched CNN (now why did we do such a stupid thing like that after such a great day). At those locations where CNN bothered to cover the events, they often-times avoided reporting on the facts. Watch this CNN coverage of the event. If this doesn’t get you upset, I don’t know what will! However, exercising our rights to freedom of speech and freedom to assemble was on full display, and a vivid reminder that we indeed live in the greatest country on earth.
CNN Correspondent Claims Tea Parties ‘Anti-Government,’ ‘Anti-CNN’
After anchor Anderson Cooper made an obscene sexual joke about attendees, CNN correspondent Susan Roesgen rudely interrupted one of the protestors and slammed the event for being "anti-government," "anti-CNN," and "not really family viewing."
Roesgen asked a man holding his toddler, "Why are you here today?" The man started to respond saying, "Because I hear a president say that he believed in what Lincoln stood for. Lincoln's primary thing was he believed people had the right to liberty and they had the right..."
But Roesgen cut him off him, saying, "But sir, what does that have to do with taxes? What does this have to do with your taxes?" She continued asking questions over his as he asked her to "let me finish my point." One crowd member was heard to yell "shut up" to the Roesgen.
When the man finished his statement about people having the "right to the fruits of their own labor" and "government should not take it," Roesgen began arguing with him again and other protesters began to get upset.
Roesgen backed away claiming that "you get the general tenor of this," tea party. "Anti-government, anti-CNN since this is highly promoted by the right-wing conservative network Fox and since I can't really hear much more and I think this is not really family viewing. Toss it back to you Kyra," Roesgen concluded.
Phillips followed by calling that assessment "a "prime example of what we're following across the country."
Here are some interesting facts about Susan Roesgen:
"An interesting little detail emerged today about new right wing public enemy #1 CNN reporter Susan Roesgen. She twice applied for a job at Fox News. She applied in January and September 2005 and was turned down. Is Roesgen bitter, or is this just business as usual for cable news?
According to Gawker, “Back in 2005, though, according to a Fox News source, Roesgen really wanted to work for that right-wing conservative network. She sent a tape of her on-air work to Fox's then-programming chief Kevin Magee in January 2005, and followed up with another reel to Magee's successor Bill Shine in September 2005. Needless to say, she didn't get the gig.”
CNN is not an American News Station anymore, they stopped being about journalism long ago. They are the start of a socialist media station that is willing to do the bidding of one American party.
Here are some more facts about Susan Roesgen and her "reporting":
Susan Roesgen:
1. Was offended by protestor calling NObama a facist, however, in January 2006 at a protest, she joked about a protester who wore a George W. Bush mask with a Hitler moustache and devil horns
2. Asks a protester a question, but won’t allow the answer.
3. Pay close attention when she pooh pooh’s the tax burden on the American people by saying “but you get a $400 tax credit” followed up with “but the Land of Lincoln got $50 billion in stimulus”
Here are some more examples of the outrageous coverage from the liberal media: (for more example - click the link from the mediaresearch.org)
  • Tea Parties = "Group Therapy" for Crazy Conservatives "All of these tax day parties seemed less about revolution and more about group therapy. At least with the more widely known protest against government spending, people attending the rallies were dressed patriotically and held signs expressing their anger, but offering no solutions."-- New York Times reporter Liz Robbins in an April 15 online article about that day's anti-tax "tea parties." The paragraph was taken out of the version that appeared in the Times' April 16 print edition.
  • "Cheered on by Fox News and talk radio, the hundreds of tea parties today were designed to protest the bailouts, the stimulus plan, and President Obama's budget....But critics on the left say this is not a real grassroots phenomenon at all, that it's actually largely orchestrated by people fronting for corporate interests....While the Boston Tea Party in 1773 was about taxation without representation, critics point out that today's protesters did get to vote -- they just lost. What's more, polls show most Americans don't feel overtaxed." -- ABC's Dan Harris on World News, April 15.
  • CBS's Dean Reynolds: "They came to vent their outrage in big gatherings and small groups over what they see as runaway government spending, and the tax hikes they suspect are right around the corner....While he [national organizer Eric Odom] insisted these events were non-partisan, a fistful of rightward leaning Web sites and commentators-" -- CBS Evening News, April 15.
  • "There's been some grassroots conservatives who have organized so-called 'tea parties' around the company, country, hoping the historical reference will help galvanize Americans against the President's economic ideas. But I tell you, the idea hasn't really caught on. The RNC has jumped in. A few other talk radio hosts have jumped in, but it hasn't galvanized the party the way they would hope."-- NBC's Chuck Todd on Today, April 15, hours before the anti-tax rallies began.
