Faith and Action is a Christian outreach whose mission is to to reintroduce the Word of God into the public debate surrounding legislation and policy matters. Their mission field spans Pennsylvania Avenue, from the White House to the U.S. Capitol and the U.S. Supreme Court. Through news conferences, symposia, panel discussions, literature distribution, the Internet, and face-to-face conversations with key Washington leaders, they gently confront these critical public policy makers with the powerful claims of the Gospel, as well as reminders of the prominent role that the Word of God played in the creation of our nation and its laws.

Letter below:

"Dear Friends,

With only three weeks left until the election, how should Christians vote this Election Day? Does the Bible say anything about voting? To answer these and other important questions, I’ve prepared ten key points from the Bible that should guide every Christian as we approach the election.

As a matter of Christian stewardship I urge you to prayerfully and carefully cast your vote.

In my travels I have talked with Christians who suffer unspeakably in countries where voting is only a dream. Others risk life and limb—literally—to cast their ballot, even though they know that political corruption means it probably won’t matter in the end. Still, as they stand in line they are shot at, bombed, and beaten—and they continue to line up to exercise this basic human right.

When I met with Christians in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, they pleaded with me to urge all Christians in America to please vote for Godly leaders. “God has allowed you to do this,” they said with tears. “Please, do this, so your country can help ours.” Some of these Christians will surely go to prison and maybe even be executed for standing up against the dictator that runs that country and denies them basic human rights.

We must NOT squander our priceless freedom. If you are not registered to vote and there’s still time, register NOW! If you can vote early in your state, or by mail, do so NOW! By all means, get out to the polls on November 4, and take as many people in your car as you can legally fit!

It may very well be the turn-out of concerned Christian citizens like you that determines this election and where our country heads as a result.

Because this is such an important moment in the history of our nation, my brother Paul and I put together this completely non-partisan guide to help you make a wise and informed decision. Taken word-for-word from the Bible, this crucial study guide will help you chose the right leaders in this critical election.

To download a .pdf version of this essential study, click here!

I know this material will inspire and inform you as we make critical decisions about who will lead our nation. That’s why I also strongly urge you to pass this link to at least 10 others.

Every person of faith should know what the Bible says about our responsibility as Christian citizens. It’s very important that you forward this to your family, friends, fellow church members, pastors, home prayer groups and all other citizens who care about the future of this country. Do it for yourself, for your children and grandchildren—and for the future of the Gospel around the world.

I remain your missionary to Capitol Hill,

Rob Schenck"
