Public Allies

If you hadn't heard about this it's because mainstream media chooses to ignore this issue: It is very scary!

"Election '08: Democrats' reintroduction of militant Michelle Obama in Denver was supposed to show her softer side. But it only highlighted a radical part of her resume: Public Allies.

IBD Series: The Audacity Of Socialism

Barack Obama was a founding member of the board of Public Allies in 1992, resigning before his wife became executive director of the Chicago chapter of Public Allies in 1993. Obama plans to use the nonprofit group, which he features on his campaign Web site, as the model for a national service corps. He calls his Orwellian program, "Universal Voluntary Public Service."

Big Brother had nothing on the Obamas. They plan to herd American youth into government-funded reeducation camps where they'll be brainwashed into thinking America is a racist, oppressive place in need of "social change."

The pitch Public Allies makes on its Web site doesn't seem all that radical. It promises to place young adults (18-30) in paid one-year "community leadership" positions with nonprofit or government agencies. They'll also be required to attend weekly training workshops and three retreats.

In exchange, they'll get a monthly stipend of up to $1,800, plus paid health and child care. They also get a post-service education award of $4,725 that can be used to pay off past student loans or fund future education.

But its real mission is to radicalize American youth and use them to bring about "social change" through threats, pressure, tension and confrontation — the tactics used by the father of community organizing, Saul "The Red" Alinsky.

"Our alumni are more than twice as likely as 18-34 year olds to . . . engage in protest activities," Public Allies boasts in a document found with its tax filings. It has already deployed an army of 2,200 community organizers like Obama to agitate for "justice" and "equality" in his hometown of Chicago and other U.S. cities, including Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, New York, Phoenix, Pittsburgh and Washington. "I get to practice being an activist," and get paid for it, gushed Cincinnati recruit Amy Vincent.

Public Allies promotes "diversity and inclusion," a program paper says. More than 70% of its recruits are "people of color." When they're not protesting, they're staffing AIDS clinics, handing out condoms, bailing criminals out of jail and helping illegal aliens and the homeless obtain food stamps and other welfare.

Public Allies brags that more than 80% of graduates have continued working in nonprofit or government jobs. It's training the "next generation of nonprofit leaders" — future "social entrepreneurs."

The Obamas discourage work in the private sector. "Don't go into corporate America," Michelle has exhorted youth. "Work for the community. Be social workers." Shun the "money culture," Barack added. "Individual salvation depends on collective salvation."

"If you commit to serving your community," he pledged in his Denver acceptance speech, "we will make sure you can afford a college education." So, go through government to go to college, and then go back into government.

Many of today's youth find the pitch attractive. "I may spend the rest of my life trying to create social movement," said Brian Coovert of the Cincinnati chapter. "There is always going to be work to do. Until we have a perfect country, I'll have a job."

Not all the recruits appreciate the PC indoctrination. "It was too touchy-feely," said Nelly Nieblas, 29, of the 2005 Los Angeles class. "It's a lot of talk about race, a lot of talk about sexism, a lot of talk about homophobia, talk about -isms and phobias."

One of those -isms is "heterosexism," which a Public Allies training seminar in Chicago describes as a negative byproduct of "capitalism, white supremacy, patriarchy and male-dominated privilege."

The government now funds about half of Public Allies' expenses through Clinton's AmeriCorps. Obama wants to fully fund it and expand it into a national program that some see costing $500 billion. "We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded" as the military, he said.

The gall of it: The Obamas want to create a boot camp for radicals who hate the military — and stick American taxpayers with the bill."

More Information on Public Allies from the web:

(from www.exposeobama.com) "Big Brother had nothing on the Obamas. They plan to herd American youth into government-funded reeducation camps where they'll be brainwashed into thinking America is a racist, oppressive place in need of 'social change.'"

Investor's Business Daily is referring to an organization known as Public Allies.

Has Investor's Business Daily gone of the proverbial deep end?

Perhaps not. Just in case you've never heard of Public Allies, know that there are about 250 separate and unique references on Google comparing it to the Hitler Youth Corp.

No, that's not a sick joke or exaggeration! In many cases, these comparisons are not made lightly, foolishly or flippantly.

Public Allies is an extremely radical leftist organization that seeks to bulldoze free America and replace it with a totalitarian socialist state.

Investor's Business Daily goes on in the aforementioned editorial -- aptly named "Michelle's [Obama] Boot Camps For Radicals" -- and states:

"But its real mission is to radicalize American youth and use them to bring about 'social change' through threats, pressure, tension and confrontation -- the tactics used by the father of community organizing, Saul 'The Red' Alinsky."

But wait until you hear -- as radio personality Paul Harvey would say -- "The Rest of the Story."

Barack Hussein Obama plans to use Public Allies, which he features on his campaign Web site, as the model for a national service corps.

He calls his Orwellian program, "Universal Voluntary Public Service."

And why not?

After all Obama was a founding board member of Public Allies and his wife, Michelle, was executive director of the Chicago cell.

But wait... there's more!

Guess who funds this growing revolutionary army? Fidel Castro? Osama bin Laden?

No, YOU do! By paying your taxes. That's the real outrage! Your tax dollars fund 50% of Public Allies' budget through Bill Clinton's AmeriCorps program.

And Barack Hussein Obama wants you to pick up an even greater portion of the tab. In fact, accrding to Investor's Business Daily, "Obama wants to fully fund it and expand it into a national program that some see costing $500 billion."

The only questions that remains is; was Obama talking about his expanded vision of Public Allies when he stated; "We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded as the military"?

Was he talking about Public Allies when he stated in his acceptance speech; "If you commit to serving your community we will make sure you can afford a college education"?

Is that why Public Allies is often called "Obama's Brownshirts."

This organization is a snake coiled in the heart of America, waiting to strike. Congress MUST de-fund it immediately!

So what specific activities does Public Allies promote?

The entire lock-step, knew-jerk agenda of the crazy Left.

Some of the activities are rather innocent sounding, such as staffing AIDS clinics or handing out condoms.

Other activities are more dubious, such as bailing criminals out of jail and helping illegal aliens obtain food stamps and welfare.

Chief among Public Allies targets are the wicked people who advocate the natural family -- or as they call it in Obama-Land -- "heterosexism."

Public Allies called "heterosexism" an ugly byproduct of: "capitalism, white supremacy, patriarchy and male dominated privilege."

What will happen to our suburbs and small towns, where the folks who live and work and pay taxes -- as Obama's already told us -- "get bitter... cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them" when Obama institutes his National Service Corps modeled on Public Allies?

Undoubtedly America's small towns will change and turn into ugly little klatches of left-wing conformity.

When hunters go to town to buy ammunition, will they find angry teenagers and 30-year-old airheads blocking their way, waving placards, cursing the Second Amendment?

When folks go to church on Sunday, will a gang of Public Allies burst through the door, disrupt the service and shout obscenities at the preacher?

Will your town become a "sanctuary town," a safe haven for illegal aliens?

And they'll do it on your dime... at a cost that some say could reach a whopping $500 billion!

THAT'S MORE THAN THE 2008 DEFENSE BUDGET -- AND WITH A WAR GOING ON!

And speaking of the military budget, here's what WorldNetDaily reports about Obama's hopes for Public Allies:

"Obama asserted in a Colorado Springs speech that the U.S. needs a 'civilian national security force' that would be as powerful, strong and well-funded as the half-trillion dollar Army, Marines, Navy and Air Force."

"In the July 2 speech in Colorado Springs, Obama insisted the U.S. 'cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set.'

"He continued, 'We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.'"

Can it be true?

Is Barack Hussein Obama advocating an American KGB -- a large, powerful and coercive federal police force!

Don't say it couldn't happen here. It's already happening -- all over this besieged country.

Glenn Beck says of Public Allies:

"It has already deployed an army of 2,200 community organizers like Obama to agitate for "Justice and equality" in his hometown of Chicago and other U.S. cities including Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, New York, Phoenix, Pittsburgh and Washington."

Only 2,200 out of 300 million Americans. Why worry?

Here's why.

In 1923, the Hitler Youth Corp numbered a little over 1,000 members. By 1925, the membership had grown to slightly more than 5,000. Why worry?

In 1930, the membership stood at around 25,000. Why worry?

In 1932, it had grown to 107,956. Time to worry?

And a year later -- after Hitler had grabbed power -- there were 2,300,000 members of the Hitler Youth Corps ready to die for their charismatic Fuehrer, who promised them change -- a New Order.

By then it was too late to worry.

By the way, did you read the in-depth expose of Public Allies in The New York Times?

Neither did I.

The Times published a false rumor that John McCain had cheated on his wife with a lobbyist eons ago.

It savaged Sarah Palin and her family, gossiping about the Palins' daughter... about her husband's DUI arrest over 20 years earlier... about her baby.

But -- like a dog circling a rattlesnake -- The New York Times tiptoed around the story of Obama's Brownshirts, his Boot Camp for Radicals, his fuzzy-cheeked Storm Troopers.

And the rest of the Mainstream Media wouldn't touch it either.

Richie Rich, writing on BIZBLOGGER, explained:

"Why does no one really understand what Obama's 'community organizing' was all about? Because the media knows where it will lead: to Saul Alinsky, a radical socialist whose views revolved around creating conflict and agitation, particularly among inner city blacks. Not exactly the post racial ideas Obama pretends he represents. Alinksy's theme in his book, Rules for Radicals, also helps explain a lot of Barack's, Michelle's and Jeremiah Wright's frequent anti-American comments..."

"They [Americans] must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and change the future. This acceptance is the reformation essential to any revolution.

"To be a successful organizer, one must first convince the masses that America is a "downright mean country" that doesn't care about them."

Sound familiar?

Conservative author Jerome Corsi, elaborates on Rich's point in reference to Obama and his old buddy Bill Ayers -- the man who stated to The New York Times on the eve of the 9-11 attacks "I don't regret setting bombs.... I feel we didn't do enough."

"Remember, Obama has followed Saul Alinsky's ultimate advice. Saul Alinsky said radicals like Jerry Rubin and Abbie Hoffman could not organize a picnic. Alinsky told his radicals to cut their hair, buy business suits and run for public office."

"Ayers and Obama are both aimed at producing radical socialist change from within -- working today to radicalize our institutions....

"Instead of bombing them. Alinsky considered this approach to be much smarter because it was more likely to produce lasting 'change' and less likely to produce a backlash. In other words, the Alinsky-trained radical could apply more easily the Machiavellian technique of lying by denying they were pursuing radical goals if they appeared to be members in good standing of the establishment they were trying merely to 'change.'"

Has Obama read Alinsky? You better believe it! And he's following his blueprint, crossing every "T" and dotting every "I".

Public Allies is a dangerous organization holding a dagger at the heart of America!

Let's not pay their way."

(from www.hollywoodgrind.com) "Public Allies is a Chicago organization of tax payer funded protesters. Barack Obama founded Public Allies in Chicago in 1992, and Michelle Obama became the executive director. The group uses tax payer dollars to pay people who sign up. The Public Allies paid members spend most of their time protesting. Public Allies teaches the young adults that work for them that America is a racist, oppressive place in need of "social change." Public Allies said in a tax filing:

"Our alumni are more than twice as likely as 18-34 year olds to engage in protest activities."

A graduate of the 2005 Los Angeles Public Allies class, Nelly Nieblas, says it’s just a lot of talk about race. It’s a lot of talk about sexism, a lot of talk about homophobia, a lot of talk about isms and phobias. One of those isms is heterosexism, heterosexism, which a Public Allies training seminar in Chicago remember, founding member, Barack Obama. Executive director, Michelle Obama, in Chicago. That’s their chapter. A Public Allies training seminar in Chicago describes heterosexism as a negative byproduct of capital quoting of capitalism, white supremacy, patriarchy and male dominated privilege, end quote. By the way, your tax dollars now fund about half of Public Allies’ expenses, through Bill Clinton’s AmeriCorps. Obama wants to fully fund it and expand it to a national program some say will cost $500 billion.

After 19 months of Obama running for President, you’d think the mainstream media could have dug this information up, and they probably did, but didn’t share it with anyone else. With Sarah Palin, they dumped an avalanche of rumors, lies, and scandal over her head in only 5 days, and she’s still standing with her head held high. Sarah isn’t making the same excuses that Obama did when he got a few questions he didn’t like. Sarah has answered every question with honesty, and hasn’t tried to hide anything. Obama could learn something from her.

When Obama, Biden, McCain, and Palin square off for the Presidential debates, I’m hoping someone has the guts to ask Obama about his Public Allies organization."

"Obama says his “community organizing” tells people about where he is coming from, and who he represents. Obama represents Public Allies, a group of racist socialists, who are paid by American taxpayers to protest. If that is the accomplishment he is so proud of, what will he do as President of the United States? The answer is in Public Allies. What Obama claims Public Allies does is completely untrue. Obama never mentions what Public Allies really does, because if he did, most people would see him as a radical socialist who wants to start a bloody revolution."

(from myviewmytake.wordpress.com)"It appears Barack Obama and Public Allies are intent on promoting social unrest and persuading everyone they can to join right in the fun. Don’t get me wrong, protesting against something is not necessarily wrong. One of our country’s founding principles is freedom of speech, but to make a living by protesting against one thing or another seems to be stretching it just a bit."

"Barack Obama seems to place a very high priority on working for the community or the government, so much so that he is willing to pay for your college education if you will pledge to work in those places. I wonder what kind of work he plans for the graduates of Public Allies to perform?

Just a simple thought here, but if everyone goes into community work and protests against the alleged social injustices in our country, then who is going to work in our factories? Who is going to pave our roads? Who is going to build our vehicles or work on them when they break down? Who is going to raise our food? If everyone is working in community service or in the government, then there will be no one left to do the jobs that keep our country going. This country was founded on the idea that anyone could suceed with hard work, if they just put their mind to it. I wonder if our founding fathers could have imagined someone making a living by engaging in social protests? Somehow, I doubt it."
